Screaming kids in pool,which do you recommend

I think they would do just fine for that. Everything is still audible but it takes the edge off of loud noises. I use this in a live band situation, so I need an lot more protection, but for situations such as lawn work, power tools and screaming kids, they should be fine! Cheers!

What about machine or motor noise?

I've used them on numerous different motorcycles from 500cc to over 1450cc and they work great! I've also used them while shooting and they are just enough to tune the sound from a sharp crack to a dull thud. Remember, these are not designed to eliminate noise, just tune it. With that in mind I absolutely love how they perform and find them much better than standard ear plugs.

Do they sell just the case? I lost the case riding this morning.
