I don't know. There is nothing on the box or glasses to indicate any UV protection.

Yes, I find it to be ass comfortable as most eye glasses. I found no problem with them at all.

are these made with polycarbonate?

I don't know whether these are or not -- the description doesn't say, nor do the glasses. Yes these fit over large glasses and fit great. Only pair of I've ever had fit perfectly and crystal clear for shooting range!
