Vater Grip Tape, Black

I had never used grip tape before, but I have always had problems with grip on sticks. It was not due to sweat, however, it was due to dry hands. The sticks would slide around and fly out of my hands. No more. I'm never playing without this stuff again. It's perfect. Smooth to the touch but gives all the grip you need. It does change the balance point slightly, so you'll have to adjust for that. But so worth it.

I have been using these grips for over 10 years and use them professionally and they make my grip better on cold or hot day performances outside. I have tried other types of grip tape but Vater Grip Tape works great

These grips will make the sticks a lot less slippery, specially if your grip on them is loose. When applied, you can remove them and twist them around to the other side, but that will make them deteriorate as the glue sticks to the rubery material and will peel it off

I love this tape! It doesn't tear up my hands like some of the sticky grip finishes on sticks. It is easy to wrap and reuse and you get enough tape for 4 sticks. I've got some forward balance Promark sticks which I find helps dig in and get more attack from my drums. But as a consequence, it is much easier to loose your grip and let a stick fly away. The Vater grip tape prevents that and works for me.

This is very soft and sticky. I recommend this over sticks that a dipped.

Great product, good price, essentials for the working drummer!

I decided to try the Vater grip tape when I ordered several pairs of Vater drum sticks several months ago and I've been very pleased with my decision. I like the fact that when you buy the package, it's enough grip tape for two pairs of sticks. That was not the case with the Ahead grip tape that I was using before. With Ahead, it was more than half of the price of the Vater brand for only one set of grip tape. Vater's grip tape feels great and the length of the tape is more than enough to cover more than half of the stick...if that's what you want. I really like using grip tape because it helps me relax and not grip the stick as hard and helps me to last longer before hand fatigue sets in. Great grip tape for the price and it's the brand that I'm sticking with for now! Give them a try.

Definitely helps to cushion my fingers when playing drums. Highly recommend if you have arthritis like me. Also not dropping sticks as much!

But well they were not drum stick but drum stick grips... That is my bad I just saw the pic and was like sweet sticks with grips lol. But I am happy I bought these grips! they work so well! Pick them up if you got sweaty hands or have a blister and still want to play thru the pain but dulled.
