DC Super Friend Multiverse Armored Batman Figure

I am very happy with this! After 25 years of "the Dark Knight Returns" release, we finally got some sort of official armored Batman figure based on the graphic novel. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is the very first "Dark Knight Returns" armored Batman figure ever! If that's the case, this should've come out a LONG time ago! Why did it take them so long to make one of these? Either way, I'm happy we finally have this. As for the figure, it is super bulky, probably the fattest Batman figure I own and seen in this 6'' scale, there is defiantly a "bang for your buck" quality to this figure. Aside from its size, it is honestly a very simple figure, but not in a bad way. It isn't a fault of the figure, this is very accurate to its design in the comic. I love the details it does offer. The thick, cylinder shaped gauntlets and shin guards look awesome!. His chest piece if made from a soft plastic material. The cape is light blue made from something similar to the chest plate. What I love about this figure a lot is the head sculpt. It is also very bulky. Batman's is gritting his teeth angrily and has glossy dim white paint on the teeth. Of course, since this is an older version of Batman, he does has some slight wrinkle lines on the exposed part of the face. I LOVE the helmet as well! The helmet is a very simple design and has sharp looking thin, white eyes which look especially menacing. This figure comes with one accessory, a sonic blaster. A very simple, boxy accessory lacking any paint, which can be held in his left hand with the trigger finger (the right hand is fisted). Overall, I am grateful we have this figure, I thought we would never get it. If you are a fan of the "Dark Knight Returns" (comic or animated movie), I'm sure you would be very happy to own this! The most brutal and humane Batman appearance in legendary comic - and here he is, looking just like on Frank Miller's book pages. This Baman looks awesome precisely because his appearance copies his comic look, not cinematic one. He is my very first comic figure (if I ever decide to increase this collection) and I think it is a very good one to begin - he looks cool even without any additional figures near it.

Very nice figure. Not very poseable. Very limited articulation. The armored chest plate is actually thin, bendable plastic covering his torso. The gun's grip, for whatever reason, is way too small for his hand. I bought this guy to stand next to my Miller version of Superman, and boy do they look good together.

THis figure looks wonderful on my shelf and is nice a nice, and affordable, reproduction of Batman's final battle in the Dark Knight Returns.

This figure is awesome. It looks so good posed. It is light due too it being a figure in a rubber suit. If that makes sense. The armor is a soft rubber. But it still looks good and you cannot tell. It is a gorgeous figure. I was not paid or reimbursed (unfortunately) for this review. I give this figure, Five stars.

Neat. DC Comics Multiverse creates another collection for hardcore DC fans. Nothing is more hardcore for DC fans than Frank Miller's epic Dark Knight Returns series. The DC Comics Elseworlds story of a Batman returning from a forced retirement to take on crime in his city. There are a multitude of compliments given for this story, that its an epic Western set in modern times with costumes and masks. Whatever you like to describe it, it works, its been working for thirty years. With two sequels, an animated film and hundreds of references in the main DC Comics Universe, DC Films, in particular DC's newest Extended Film Universe with Dawn of Justice. This action figure comes from the epic finale where Batman is forced to fight Superman in a battle to the death and the honor to defend the right to fight. The figure looks awesome, it practically jumps from the pages of Lynn Varley's artwork, down to that mean scowl. Standing at a 7 inches, its believable to think that this belongs with the Mattel DC Universe Classics/DC Comics Multiverse action figure lineup. The detail is great, with magnificent detail on the armor. The figure is all solid plastic, with softer areas under the boots, the torso chest piece and the flowing cape. The articulation is also pretty cool, but there is no ab crunch. Still the arms, legs and head can move nicely. The figure has only one accessory, the sonic pistol that he used against Superman. I really wish this included an alternate head so as we can see him as the older Bruce Wayne - especially when recreating the epic finale of the story. Being a Collect and Connect lineup figure it comes with Doomsday's head and lower torso.

NECA LIKE FIGURE! Well done figure with some minor gripes. Just like NECA, Mattel gives us a great sculpt and paint. The only issue I would correct, or the thing that will make this figure great again, is ankle pivots and a wrist hinge. This figure simply looks great on a shelf.

Great figure, box came in good shape. Only one bad thing , there's a small discoloration on the utility belt that I'm not so fond of

Excelente figura para la gama que es. No es una estatuilla de más de 3 mil pesos, que quede claro. Es una figura de buen tamaño y el tener al Batman en esta modalidad de The Dark Knight es genial. Yo no soy fan de Batman, pero sí de figuras que tienen algo llamativo o especial, así que me imagino que un superfan le va a encantar.

Every good addition to the collection..From hit comic The Dark Knight Returns...The Armoured Batman is awesome,The sculpting is good,the articulation is good too... Can be posed in many ways..The Ultra-Sonic Gun doesn't fit in the hand..The rest is good..

Für Fans von Batman ein absolutes Must have 👍👍👍bin sehr zufrieden und die Figur ist gestaltet In der Bewegung etwas eingeschränkt in den Beinen aber ansonsten gut 😊
