Tamiya X-20A thinners
I only use Tamiya X-20A for Tamiya acrylics I never mix other thinners with other paint. So Tamiya thinners for Tamiya paints, Zero thinners for Zero paints and so on.It's a safer to use thinners this way and helps to prevent any chemical reactions by mixing one brand of paint to a different brand of thinners.I normally use a ratio of 3 parts Tamiya acrylic paints to 1 part Tamiya X-20A so to put this in droplets from a pipet 10 drops of Tamiya thinners to 30 drops paint.This 3 to 1 ratio works well in airbrushes from 0.4mm to 0.2mm needles with a air compressor pressure 15psi.With this ratio I get a smooth coat on my models with no pooling or spidering that you can get with some water base acrylics made for airbrushing.All in all I very good product from Japan which you know means quality highly recommend to use with Tamiya acrylics only.

Sadly the demise of Shrewsbury shopping, has left me no choice but order this on line.Tried water and all sorts as a thinner, but not risking my airbrushes.This is the best for me Thankyou

Does exactly when it said on the tin.. Great Thinner!!
As expected from Tamiya, this thinner works great for thinning the paint before applying to the airbrush. It does have a smell, so make sure you use it in a well ventilated area or have an extraction box. Apart from thinning the paint before airbrushing, I also use this thinner to clean my airbrush quite often, I believe it is better than using spirit. I can strongly recommend this Tamiya product, hope you will find this review useful.
