Smells fantastic; works like a charm
This soap not only cleans my sponge but smells heavenly. I use Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation, which notoriously sticks in every brush and sponge it touches! I use this soap daily and dry onto paper towel’s and my sponge lasts months not weeks.

Nothing compares
I bought this stuff back in 2022 and still have a tiny bit left - and it's my saving grace. I bought another brand (eco tools) when I started running low that was cheaper and it proved to be less effective than this stuff. The other brand couldn't work up as good of a lather to get deep enough into the bristles, especially when I got to my densely packed foundation brush. I always have to take the tiny bit that's left of this product out to get it completely clean. Moral of the story, I'm going back to this stuff because it just can't be beat. Nothing compares to saving time washing your brushes versus several washes with the other brand (and it's still not clean).

Works well, very little scent
For me this is the best cleaner for makeup brushes, it works really well, rinses out clean and has very little scent.

Great cleanser
Works really well! If you can spare the money to purchase this to clean your sponges and/or brushes I say get it. If not, I’d say stick with your normal wash that you use. When I’m on a tight budget I either use Elf cleansers or just regular baby shampoo and they get them just as clean. I also will use Dial antibacterial soap on mine just because I’m a little OCD germ freak lol. Afterwards, I’ll apply the Elf brush conditioner on mine or the brush conditioner from Sephora. But this cleanser works pretty good. Does what it’s supposed to do without any negative effects on my brushes or sponges and I even use this on my velvet sponges with no problem. I took off one star because of the price. Yes, you do get a lot of use out of this bottle but depending on how often you clean your brushes and sponges the bottle can end up going pretty quickly especially if you wear darker makeup and you’re trying to get it off of a lighter colored sponge. I’m too lazy and impatient to sit there and soak mine in the soap and water to get the darker foundation out of the sponges I use or off of the tips of my white colored brushes. Too much work lol. But I have tried it and it does work, but you have to kind of soak them for awhile when using that technique. Again, I’m too lazy and impatient for all of that lol. But all in all a very good cleanser. Just wish they’d lower the price some.

*The* best makeup application tool cleanser.
Unfortunately, it *seems* pricey. But let me break this down:I was running super low on this, and had about a half-full bottle of another super-popular brand’s brush cleanser. It paled in comparison to effectiveness with the sponge(s), but surprisingly, it took four times as much cleanser as the Beauty Blender brand’s to get cream makeup out of my brushes. And I *still* had to finish them off with pea-sized amounts of BB’s cleanser….So, when you think about it, technically this is less expensive overall, we just have to be conscientious of how much we use. Because, absolutely, unlike other brands, this doesn’t take much.To clarify here, the water ran clear a couple times using the other cleanser. But as I wrung out the brushes, the bristles still felt like there was product in them. So, I sparingly used this cleanser, and I wish I had captured video! It was like I never even washed the brushes prior! So much makeup came out, and I diligently wash my brushes at the very least every Sunday, but often 2-3 times for my cream foundation brush since my skin is hypersensitive.Anyhow, hands down, this is worth it for the health of skin, the longevity of brushes, and the obvious cleanliness of brushes and sponges. (Still, replace your sponge-applicators at least every month. They’re absolute breeding grounds for bacteria. My only “lecture,” promise. 😘)5/5

Lavender brush cleaner
I have been using this brand to clean my makeup brushed for years and absolutely love it. I haven't had a problem with it damaging my brushes or my sponges. It always leaves my brushes soft and like new.

Meh
I didn't find anything special about this brush cleaner. I usually use an antibacterial dish soap or even shampoo to clean my brushes and was thinking I needed to step up my game with a regular brush cleaner. This took more time and effort to get them clean and I think I'll go back to my regular way after this is gone.
