I have a LOT of houseplants throughout our house and I'm always looking for a way to make them stand out even more. I already have a 16-inch disco/mirror ball in one room that casts sparkles all around the room - and plants - when the sun is shining, so this disco/mirror ball planter was the next logical piece. I love it!!! This planter comes with a string hanger as well as a wood stand. I prefer the wood stand. There are holes in the disco ball planter where the string hanger would attach, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that small mirror pieces were also included with this item so you could peel-and-stick them onto the ball to cover the holes. Perfect! The planter does have a plug in the bottom, so you can remove that to have a draining pot, or leave it in. I planted a Pilea peperomioides in this planter, and it is a perfect fit! The opening to the planter, and the planter itself, is small, so it will only accommodate a small plant, but I knew that when I ordered, and I am still very pleased with this planter. I have it sitting on our dining room table where it catches the afternoon sun and throws sparkles all around the room. So cool! This planter could ALSO be used to hold utensils for a backyard patio party, or be used as a flower vase. I could even see this in a sunny guest bathroom holding small wash cloths or other small toiletries. Lots of clever ways to use this item!

This is really cute, lightweight, and comes with 4-5 extra mirror squares in case you lose one. There are no drainage holes for water so be careful there--but that means you won't have a puddle under where you hang it. The macrame hanger is nice and sturdy too.

Thought this item was bigger but it’s cute and looks beautiful when the sun hits it. I enjoy the items it came with, provides different ways to display it. It’s a great gift to give to someone.

This was a gift. The recipient absolutely adored it. I don’t know that it is the best quality product out there, but it’s cute and the fact that it comes with the ability to put it on a stand or hang it sets it apart from the others. Would recommend
