Our younger cat, age 6, is very playful and loves toys. She's now obsessed with one, to the point if I turn it off, she'll whack it with her paw on the top until she turns it back on - I'm serious! Sometimes she stares at it as the feather moves in and out, other times she runs around attacking, or try to catch the feather. Occasionally she catches it and tends to drag the whole toy around! The flashing lights also keep her attention. When I'm working, I get this toy out and she is entertained for such a long time. My other cat, age 8, less playful, loves to just watch. The battery lasts a long time on this, suprisingly, and I really like the different settings (interactive being my favorite for our cats). Even with the feather toy turned off, our cat loves to swipe the ball around the tray/tube. She has a couple of toys with similar balls and trays, but this is her favorite because of the lights and the feather popping in and out. If you have a playful cat this is a great toy to keep them active and busy! The two photos shows our cat with the toy: Ready to pounce! And getting ready to turn the toy back on!

We originally bought this for Christmas 2022. He liked it then and played with it regularly and after time he wanted to play with new stuff and didn't play with it as much. We bring it out every once in awhile and he plays with it and we rarely have to change batteries. Lately we brought it out again after it being in his toy box for some time and he was excited again to play with it, like a child who found an old toy that was forgotten about in the back of a closet. Now that it is around Christmas time he is just playing with his old stuff until Christmas day when he gets to open new presents. This has been a great toy for the money and a great value. We have had absolutely no problems with it and it keeps our kitty entertained and engaged... at least for a little bit at a time. This is a quality item that is built well and holds up. I've even accidently stepped on it a couple of times and it hasn't affected it one bit.

Quick synopsis: a quality and engaging toy. Although this product is intended for cats, ours, honestly, couldn’t be bothered by it—we accepted this risk when we made this purchase, as he is rather picky… However, my husband and I have a two lb. puppy who couldn’t be more excited by this toy. In-depth review: Design: The toy has 6 holes that a feather pops out of and a track above them that a small ball rolls around in. The toy and the majority of its components are made of a light, yet durable plastic, with the exception of the feathers themselves, the bell inside of one of the plastic balls and the small electronic panel on the top of the toy, used to display different settings. There are both extra feather pieces and an extra ball included with the toy (one ball has a bell inside, one does not and is silent). Function: there are 5 different settings to choose from that control the speed and pattern of the feather pop-out mechanism. The toy is not silent, the pop-out mechanism is definitely audible, but it is subtle, as well as the ball rolling around the top track, which also makes a feint sound; these are intended (and seem) to engage the user. The toy requires a wall plug, as it only uses a cable (included) for power, rather than batteries. This can be inconvenient, depending upon the where the toy is used. Use: again, while this toy may be intended for cats, unfortunately, our boy is not entertained. Our little puppy however, during supervised play, can’t get enough of this thing—so we do consider this worthwhile purchase. **It’s worth nothing that we only allow her to play with this toy supervised strictly because of her age and size. Since we’ve unboxed it, the toy itself and its parts are quality, easy to use and safe. Conclusion: This toy works exactly as described. It’s well-made and seems to entertain most cats, and if it doesn’t, maybe another pet could benefit from trying to use it… 🤣 🤷‍♀️

Still works years later. 3 cats have enjoyed it so far. They have even learned how to turn it on themselves. I have had this maybe 5+ years and the quality is so good that I have only had to use 1 of the replacement feathers out of the several provided so far. My cats can’t easily rip them out since it’s made so well.

My cat LOVES this toy. He stands intently watching to see where it pops out next then tries to catch it. I was worried that he'd chew the feathers off but so far that hasn't happened. Even when he does catch it it's always managed to 'escape his clutches'. When it's off he'll play with the ball, so it's a 2 in 1 toy. I've bought the ball that rolls around and he chases that but it doesn't hold a charge for very long and it's noisy and bangs into the walls. What made me choose this toy is the option of using it with the included cord or putting in batteries. I first tried the cord but the toy isn't heavy so it's easily moved when pounced on. I switched to batteries and it works out really well - no more having to continuously charge it. Great toy - I highly recommend it.

This is a very attractive toy for my cat. It can retain the cat's attention for quite a while, over 15 mins, and when in the auto-restart mold, it can quickly re-attract the cat's respond easily. It is well made, and seems to be quite durable. Really liked it.

Good variation of speed. Like that it can be set to start in a few hours

I bought this to try and give my cat some more entertainment while I’m at work and she seems to like it! She’s 9 and picky about toys. I like that this has a timing system and will have the feathers coming out every few hours. So far it works really well and I haven’t had any issues.
