I picked up this A-10 Warthog building block set and honestly, it was great. The finished model looks fantastic, there’s a lot of attention to detail, and it really captures the iconic look of the A-10. If you’re into military aircraft, this is a great display piece once it’s completed. The build itself was really enjoyable. With 931 pieces, it’s a solid project that keeps you engaged without being overly frustrating. It not so difficult but still challenging. I was able to complete it in a reasonable amount of time and enjoyed the process the whole way through. The quality of the bricks is also pretty good. Everything fit together well, and the finished model feels sturdy. There were even some extra pieces included, which is always appreciated. The instructions were mostly clear. Overall, this is a great set for the price. Whether you’re a casual builder or a military aviation fan, it’s a fun and rewarding build that looks great on display. I’d definitely consider picking up more sets from this General Jim.

Awesome product, obviously a bit fragile when completed. I would recommend using some glue on the main body extensions however looks great!

This plane is awesome! it is super sturdy and looks fantastic. It has retractable landing gear, and the nose wheel has panels that fold over it! The instructions are great and easy to follow. The only thing I was disappointed about were the guys, they could have definitely been improved and didn’t look that cool at all. The plane also has an opening cockpit and fold out steering yoke. The set also comes with an anti-aircraft cannon which was really easy to build but still looks pretty cool. All round a really fun and cool looking plane!

Was looking forward to building this to add an A-10 to the collection. However, when building the wings (Bags 5 & 6), there are not enough pieces and you end up using pieces from the next bag to finish one wing. Therefore, you cannot finish the second wing in the build. However, I contacted the company on their website with the issue and they sent replacement parts (free of charge) within two weeks.

Another fun build with no issues with the pieces. Instructions can be a little confusing at times as you can’t see where the pieces go at times. The only complaint I have was that it is tail heavy so it drops back. I put a small lead fishing weight in the nose gear housing and fixed it. As for General Jim’s this was my second build purchasing through them and have had nothing but success with them.

Great price and really fun for my 12year old son who loves military planes that LEGO refuses to create. All pieces are the same as LEGO so they can be used interchangeably

General Jim’s for the win with our military enthusiast child. Models are well made, hold together well and are accurate representations. The instructions were slightly different from what we were used to with Lego, but we figured them out quickly enough. Highly recommend.

This (not)LEGO set is amazing! It looks exactly like an A10 so there is NO misidentifying it, it has similar hard points (weapon positions) to the real A10, and the gun on it looks great! It was fairly easy to assemble, as long as you cna assemble normal LEGO this will be fine. Its a good size, a little larger than expected but I am NOT complaining. The only loose parts are the front of fhe engines, but that is a very small detail otherwise it is very stable. All in all, a solid 9/10! The only way this could be better is if it had custom weapons like COBI.
