I'm all for a revival of Made in USA products. Not true that US made products are always expensive; even so, it is still worth it and often times you get what you pay for. This product is certainly not the most expensive but worth every penny in performance. I used it on my router table using only a 2-1/2 hp router. It cuts rabbets as if the workpiece (hardwood) I was working on was pine. Very precise, clean cuts and the bits are easy to install and remove. The instruction couldn't have been more clear. Great product.

This set works very well for rabbeting both hard and soft woods. I generally build furniture using Eastern Red Cedar and found the master bit cuts this material very easily and smoothly without many tear-outs. The principle behind this set is one master cutter with a set of bearings 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", and 1/2" deep. Change the bearing to control the depth of the cut. Love that it's made in the USA.

I used this bit with a bosch 1617 router. This is my 2nd set of whiteside bits. They work just as well as the set of plywood dadoes I bought.Cuts are smooth, no need to sand afterwards.I had a bit of trouble trying to take the screw out to separate the bearings when I opened the package. Had to lock the bit in the router and hold the shank with a wrench to loosen it for the first time. Once I used the bit and removed it from the router I had to put it back to remove the bearing again as it was too tight. Maybe it's just me.Other than that, it's definitely a great investment.Made my first bookshelf project a wonderful experience.

Great router bit and quality construction

This is a Really nice Set. Just wish the description would of made it more obvious that it was a 1/2" Shank model. It does say 1/2" shank, but it would of been nice if it was in the headline

Bit cuts cleanly, bearings are solid and easily swapped using the included allen wrench. Nicely packaged in a plastic storage unit. Overall, very pleased.
