Built very well. Managed to pull a 5-inch flywheel off a chainsaw that felt like it was welded in place! Used a ratchet to screw down until really tight, then tapped on the top end of the screw with a hammer, and BANG! - flywheel came loose! This puller has a hidden feature not mentioned by the seller - the little protrusions at each end of the bar are actually spring-loaded detents so the jaws won't slip off the ends of the bar until you're ready to remove them. This feature makes the cavity in the jaws just the right size so they won't cant one way or the other too much. I put a drop of motor oil on each button and pressed down several times so they are lubricated. Before using I lubricated the entire length of the screw as well as the bottom end with bearing grease and ran the screw back and forth a couple times to make sure the threads were as lubricated as possible. Worked great! :) Highly recommend this product as well as the seller - arrived in 48 hours.

This thing worked really well. My air compressor seized up when the oil leaked out of the compressor. The connecting arm was seized to the shaft, I used this to reach inside the compressor and remove the arm from the shaft without doing a complete tear down. made life very easy.
