Great gift.
Love that this younger generation appreciates an album and a record player.I’m giving my great nephew this so he can listen to the jazz I love. He’s 21 and an old soul and the next jazz lover in the family.Sit by an open window, summer breeze blowing and enjoy.Can’t wait to pick out his next album.

Just Fantastic Pure Audio
Miles Davis’ quintet at their peak in an amazing recording! The detail of each instrument is phenomenal on this recording. I could hear a bit of “fuzz” on some tracks, but overall just a great recording of legendary musicians. If you are a fan of this record, I think it is well worth the cost to upgrade - highly recommended!

NO ISSUES. SOUNDS GREAT
Arrived in stellar condition. Mine soundes fantastic right out of the sleeve! I didn't even clean it before playing (as I usually do with new records). The pressing is so excellent that even the mild distortion, in the very beginning of each side, is not noticeable on this one, as it has been on several other copies I've owned (even the UHQR copy I had). I'm super happy with this purchase, and elated to once again have this epic album in my collection!

Mix is not different from other versions
I bought this after reading that this mix is "cleaner" than other versions of KOB ... I don't think it is ... I still hear the tiny bits of static in the backgroud, at points throughout the recording. I'm keeping it, though ... it’s pleasant, it's blue vinyl, and I like the cover!

Good vinyl
Kind of Blue is probably one of the best jazz albums ever made and if you get a good pressing like this one its a must have for music lovers.The record itself is heavier than the cheaper pressings which means less waving and more solid tracking by the needle.The inside sleeve and outer jacket is good quality and of course the record itself sounds very very good.
