Seems to be good quality hose, but don't expect same flow rate as 'non-expanding' hose you are replacing.
Looks like an excellent quality and well made product. I would give 4.5 stars, but the system won't allow that. I'm deducting a point based on the assumption that this hose would provide similar flow-rate as a typical 'non-expanding' garden hose.I am a bit disappointed in the flow-rate of the hose. It is fine for watering potted plants, washing the car, etc.. but don't expect the same flow-rate as you would get with a typical 5/8" garden hose (ie. the kind of hose that we all hate). This hose would not be suitable I think for use with a sprinkler to water a large area, but it may work OK for a small area with a small sprinkler. When you start with the 1/4 turn valve shut off and open the faucet, the hose will expand to its full length, which in my case with the 75 foot hose, was about 78 feet total. However, when extended to this length and you begin to open the valve, the hose begins to shrink back to it's shorter length, and if you are needing to water something 70+ feet from the faucet, you will need to hold on to the hose with one hand while watering with the other in order to keep the hose where you need it. Using the hose at a shorter distance would not really cause this issue since the hose will only shrink back so far and seems to stop, provided there is still some water pressure. When the hose is stored and you turn the water on it begins to fill and expand, and as you pull the hose out in a straight line (from a loose bundle on the ground) the hose will pay out smoothly and indeed I found that it does not tend to kink while pulling it straight.I also found that the flow rate is strong when the hose is fully expanded right after you turn the valve on, but then as the pressure in the hose reduces and the hose begins to contract, the flow rate reduces proportionally, due to the internal diameter of the hose decreasing. The black plastic boots on both ends are retainers for a crimped connector that fits into the brass male/female ends. The crimp connector appears to be a well made interface that connects the hose and outer fabric to the brass fittings. It also has 2 O-rings to make a secure seal, but it might start leaking if the black plastic part unscrews over time. I took one end completely apart and found it tricky to get back into the black boot since the outer green fabric tended to bunch up and not allow the plastic O-ring connector to slide back into the housing- you have to pull the fabric tight while pushing the O-ring connector back into the housing. The company sent an email asking if I had any questions or concerns, and the Owner replied very quickly to my email which I thought was great! I think they will stand behind the product as indicated with other reviews. We have not really begun using the hose yet, so may update my review after 6 months or so...

I love this expandable hose
UPDATE: I had an issue with my hose in that i accidentally disconnected the black sleeve at the end of the hose when I thought that I was disconnecting the brass end from the faucet. I couldn't get the black sleeve to reconnect to the brass end so I contacted the seller to ask what I was doing wrong as to why I couldn't get it to screw back onto the end of the hose. They immediately sent me a brand new hose that arrived 2 days later. Not only does Quality Source Products manufacture the best hose that I have ever owned....they also offer the best customer service of any seller I have done business with. Again, one 5-star rating for the hose, and another 5-star rating for the customer service. Thank you Quality Slource for everything.I love this expandable hose. I have used it just a few times but so far it works great !!!!!! The 75 foot hose reaches clear across the entire front of my house with hose to spare. And of course the biggest plus is storage. I hang it on a small plastic hanger that fits over top of and hangs off of my outdoor faucet. I would recommend this high quality product to anyone.

Expanding Hoses are a Joy to use.
My wife was tired of the effort of pulling out and then reeling in 75' of regular hose, so she bought a cheap expanding hose to try. She loved it until it split. It is much easier to use in every way. No more marks in the lawn from leaving the hose out too long. She stores it in a large flower pot. To use it, she just turns the water on, starts walking with the nozzle, and it keeps right up. It is like having a weightless hose. The green color is very nice.We hope this one will last and expect it will.

Thank You for a good product.
It is a very dependable hose and so far has had no defects in going back and forth across the yard. The one before this did not last a month before it sprung a leak and was ruined. Thank You for a good product. You sent us a new hose before aug. 2017 with extra heavy duty ends but this latest one you sent us broke about 6' from the end, on the inside, before we had it two weeks. It didn't sound like you would be sending another one. I don't know what were doing with it to break so early. The first one lasted about 10 months and the second one lasted maybe two weeks. Were just watering and trying not to stretch it tight. Thank You Dan & Judy Rawstern

NOT durable.
I bought this for my mom at Christmas. She's 86 years old and doesn't use it more than twice a week from May to August. The hose didn't make it to August. It blew three holes in July. I'll be trying to submit for warranty.

Not worth the money!
This hose is not worth the money I paid for it. The majority of the positive reviews it has gotten are from folks who received the hose for free. In just a few uses, the outer material the hose is made of is completely shredded. This is from dragging it across the driveway. Water pressure is minimal and the hose is not 75 feet long. Please do not waste your money on this hose. I feel duped.

and thought that we took very good care of it
We bought this hose to replace a cheaper quality expandable hose that "blew out" in just under a year of light use. We drained and stored it inside, and thought that we took very good care of it, so we were a little reluctant to try another hose of this type. We were pleased at how "heavy duty" it is without being heavy and cumbersome like regular hoses. We've only had it about a month but so far it's awesome!

Great flexible hose
I give it 5 stars for durability and the way it drains quickly after turning off the water source. (Most flexible hoses are slow to drain.) I took away 1 star for my rating because the cloth covering Is beginning to fray as I have to drag it across my driveway to do some watering. If it is used in a grassy area, it's worth 5 stars.
