This hose seem pretty good so far. I have only used it once. It is made much better than any other expandable hose I have owned. I bought a 3 year extended warranty with it just in case. This is on top of the manufacturers 1 year warranty.One negative that I did notice is that the outer covering has already frayed in some spots just with normal contact a hose would have while dragging it across a concrete driveway or pavers. Outer covering seems to be like a cotton type of material. It is much heavier than the nylon type of exterior on other expandable hoses I have owned in the past. However, the fraying makes me wonder if the outside might wear out or tear quickly. I will keep an eye on this.

Had this for 2 week. I like it fine - you do have to be patient with emptying it once you've turned the water off, if you have a pressure handle on the end of it. Takes me about 1.5 minutes to get it empty. You have to empty it, though or it splits at the connection, or I've read in the reviews - so I'm patient and do what's needed.

This is really a xmas gift for my husband, since he is always complaining about the hose not being long enough. I took it out of the box and I think he will be pleased with it. (that is why I only gave it a 3 star review, but I will update as soon as Spring comes)

I've owned several different brands of expandable hoses; all less expensive and each one didn't last even with careful use. I purchased two of these hoses in the spring of this year and both are still functioning as advertised. These hoses cost more than other brands but you'll only need to buy them once.Update July 18: Both hoses started leaking the same day. I'm lowering my rating b/c they only lasted 2 years. Disappointed.

I was so happy with this hose...for two weeks. I have high water pressure and this more sturdy hose could handle it. Great change of pressure knob on the user end of the hose. Unfortunately, while I was watering my rose bushes in week 2, a thorn apparently touched the hose, and it exploded, deflated, and was worthless. :( For $100.00, I was hoping for so much more resistance. I would not recommend spending this much on a hose that is so vulnerable.

This thing is amazing. Exactly as advertised. Super light (even filled with water), very easy to move around, and fully extends to 100 feet when filled with water.Fittings are high quality. I can see this lasting essentially forever.Best part is when you shut off the water, just keep spraying for 5-10 seconds and the hose shrinks down to a size you can easily manage with one hand.I'll be ordering 3 more.*UPDATE*Well, it's about 10 months later. I went to use the hose, turned it on, and it burst. Deflated. Useless. It was not punctured in any way, and it spent the winter inside. Simply failed.Avoid this thing unless you want a hose that costs $10/month.

What a hype! Do not buy this hose.! First time my wife used it in the garden it sprung a huge leak and became totally unusable. So I tried to cut out the leaking spot and splice the leak, like you would do with a bronze connector on a regular hose. Well that was my second huge mistake, after buying it in the first place. You cannot splice this hose. Underneath the totally porous, not waterproof fabric outer layer is a thin walled, 1/4" diameter rubber hose, that will not fit over a standard hose splice and retracted about 20' into the fabric cover making it impossible to even try to splice. A total rip off Product!

I ordered 8 of these hoses, plus a red 75' one and LOVE them. They work perfectly, are light weight and super easy to get in and out of the hose holder. I just drop it in and it almost disappears. I hated trying to unwind rubber hoses and putting them away with all the dirt, water and kinks in them 😖. The green fades into the landscape and puts out as much water as a rubber hose or very little when you want. The sprayer works very well too.
