Presto 07072 22-Inch Extra Large Griddle, 22"x 13", Low Profile Design, Ceramic Nonstick, Black

This griddle has a very large cooking surface so that making batches of pancakes goes quickly. Even heat distribution is not quite 100% but is very good. The nonstick cooking surface is ceramic so I am assuming no harmful chemical exposures. No oiling of the cooking surface is required, cooking is even and nothing sticks. Apart from cooking well the next best thing is the griddle sores easily on end in my tray cupboard. Actually, storage was a major consideration when selecting this griddle. And of course, cleanup is easy since once the cord is removed the entire griddle can get wet..

Amazing and so big! No sticking whatsoever with a little rice flour on grill. Fits all 15 of my homemade English muffins (3” round). Cooks really evenly for how large it is. A few colder areas in the outer edge and middle of griddle, but to be expected with how large it is. Make sure you have the cupboard or storage space to fit this; it did take quite a big footprint in my large cabinet cupboard. It did arrive with a small piece broken on drip tray (see pics). So I am exchanging. Will update review if need be once replacement arrives.

I’m very pleased with this griddle and would rate it a 5/5. The cooking surface heats evenly, which makes it great for preparing a variety of foods like pancakes, eggs, and bacon. This is our third one of these griddles. They work great, they're nice and large so we use them for breakfast and for dinner sometimes, but the reason we've had three of them is because All three have ended up having the handle pieces and grease drawer break. This might happen if you stand it up to dry and it slides down because of the weight or if something else falls on it or if you were to drop it putting it away. They've all ended up with a corner or more cracked off of the handle and the drawer and then we end up not being able to use them. So it is really great because of how large it is and it cooks fairly evenly but you really have to handle it extra carefully because of the type of plastic they use for the handles I guess.

This is a fantastic griddle. The large size makes it easy to prepare a food for a large family. We have owned it for over a year and use it frequently. It works great, is easy to clean and is holding up really well.

This griddle has a huge cooking area, but the lack of big handles and stuff and the low height keeps it surprisingly compact. Most of its area is working space. Very nice finish on the cooking surface. Heating test- I set it for 375, timed, and checked the heat with a laser. Working temp took only 5-6 minutes to reach. Variations in temp across the surface were fairly wide until it reached the working point. After that, variations leveled out; were plus or minus 10 degrees. That is normal as well, with most good grills. No distortion or warp with heat either. It sits close to the countertop, but the heat underneath the grill was not enough to be a concern. The only thing worth noting from the initial test is that the actual temperature runs hotter than the thermostat setting. I found that the 300/325 setting produces the 375 I wanted. This is a pretty typical characteristic of grills, once you know it, you adjust your set points. Overall, looks great. Love the big cooking area without a lot of extensions taking up more space. It's light even though the deck is quite solid, it will be easy to store as well. This replaces a previous Presto grill, which has served for more than 30 years, and still works fine. It's a keeper!

Works pretty good, and I love the size of it too,plenty of room for everyone's breakfast to cook at same time,and so easy to clean, our old "large" and worped griddle let's just say it when to a better place

Worth every penny. My previous Presto lasted 18 years before showing problem with heat distribution; one side was lower temp than the other side. This griddle is ghye-normous. I was able to do bacon and french toast at the same time.The only other difference is the heating elements are encased and not visable, which is fine. This griddle is the best, bar none!!

The Good: Amazing quality and fast heating, very large surface for cooking, cleaning is so easy and the surface is none-stick. The Not so Good: Warning This is a 120 volt griddle, it needs a transformer,It doesn’t heat enough to cook quick burgers or steak, heat distribution is not good as the surface doesn’t heat evenly, skip this one if you are looking for a heavy duty griddle.

The griddle is extra large and you can actually make all the hamburgers or pancakes or eggs etc that you want all at one time, at least for up to 5 ppl. We've owned a ton of grills/griddles, but this one is by FAR the best. The heat distribution is fine. Not perfect, but definitely not a problem at all. Cleaning is very easy. Excellent grill.

Purchased this product about six months ago and it’s either faulty or a bad design. Only used it one time and not the so called “FLAT” griddle plate is so badly distorted to a point that the fat/oil could spill over the rim, I’m now unable to use this product, I have sent emails but don’t seem to be getting anywhere. Being an electrical product one would expect at least a one year guarantee.

So happy with this purchase; it's the perfect size for our family. Easy to clean and store. I wish I had gotten it a long time ago. It saves me so much time in the kitchen
