Great product for sure
I work as a caregiver and have been for over 40 yrs. I have a lot of hospice patients that are bed bound. I just started with a new patient and did a skin check and saw she had a bed sore starting. I bought a few different types of bandages and tried them on her and she told me that they were very uncomfortable so I looked on Amazon and found these. I do have her turn every 30 minutes but she told me today that these were so much more comfortable than any of the other ones we tried. So I'm leaving a 5 star . I could go on and on about this product but I hope you all get the gist of it

Lifesaver
This was a lifesaver and helped prevent a serious bedsore. Took me one or two tries to put it on properly but once you get the hang of it, it works like a dream.

It's unfortunate it doesn't work
The quality of each component is great, however, they don't work the best when put together.Because of the "cushion" is nicely thick, which I like, the remaining silicone part to stick it to your body is very small. It causes the whole thing to kind of stay half open and germs to get in to the wound from the side. And the waterproof feature becomes useless. There's an easy way to fix this issue though. You just need to use some tape around the edges. But do I really want to do that? Not really.

Perfect for covering wound in the lower back
The best thing about this type of bandage is the adhesive that it uses. My husband had a would on his sacrum that had to be dressed and covered. The other type of bandages were destroying his skin. This bandage caused no irritation, and it was easy to remove without hurting. If it were a little bit more absorbent, you could pull it away, re-dress the wound, and re-use the bandage. However, I found it better to use a fresh bandage each time I dressed the wound.
