Perfect, Recommended
This is a complete unit with the cover but no transformer. For complete system you would buy this, transformer, and doorbell switch.I purchased the inside unit also because I did not realize it was included.

Easy peasy remember to remove 2 thin Styrofoam cushion from chimes2 wire hookup

Nice upgrade from my old doorbell skin/shell.
Only used the shell/skin to upgrade on old one. I have ring camera hooked up to this door bell that was installed 20 yrs ago, Inexpensive upgrade.

New design - not a fan.
Be aware that the user manual shows the installation of a different model, so you will have to adapt their instructions.And if you need to make any changes to the doorbell unit, like a new hole for routing wires that were installed for an earlier unit, you are out of luck.So, works fine, but the installation was quite difficult.
