I will admit I got these for my 2 beagles because they stole a similar toy from my cats. They absolutely go bonkers for these...the noise, the texture of the bird and mouse. They have held up quite well, too! Realistic looking and super cute. I will buy these again when the finally wear out.

My cat didn’t even get a chance to play with this bird. My little dog just loves this thing. Very durable and super cute. But the chirper could make you a little crazy if you don’t like noise makers (we don’t mind them) It’s such a cute toy and we will buy another when we need to!

My cat likes this bird toy. It is about the size of a large apple. It chirps and wiggles around and kitty attacks it. It does emit a mechanical sound, so not very realistic, but kitty doesn't mind.I'd say this is not a toy for a timid cat. It might scare them.

When I turned this cute little bird on straight out of the box, my napping kitty came running from the other room to see what it was. And that was it-- pure joy and entertainment followed as she played with it for about ten minutes before returning to her nap, seemingly content. I know from day one if my cat will like something (and I'm sure I'm not alone as a cat owner on this), and this toy is a hit if it got that great first response and wasn't ignored!Update: After only a few days of playing with this bird, my cat opened up the Velcro part and took out the mechanical part inside while I was sleeping. Her crying woke me up, and when I went to see what she was crying about I saw the destruction. She was okay and everything about the toy was intact, but now I will only let her play with this under supervision in case she can break open the machine part of it. She was sad it stopped moving I guess, for she was very concerned when I took it all away from her. She really likes it!

My Penny Patches loves these birds. I bought her one last year and it finally stopped working after months of play.Decided to get these. Should have purchased the more expensive, you get what you pay for.She played with it twice the first few days after it arrived. It worked until it needed charged. No longer works. Not even a week of play. Do not buy.When I first put it on the charger, it worked chirping and flapping it's wings when I set it down. Let it charge 1 hour. Didn't work. Let it charge longer...3 hours, still didn't work. I Even tried turning it off and tapping it, and turning it on to tap it, several times, just to make sure I had the switch in the right direction. Double checked that the charger works, the charger works fine so I charged it 2 more hours... still doesn't work. 6 hours charging and we still have a dead bird. Not worth it for a cat to play for 10 minutes, 2 times.

In my title, I say "loved" because sadly, it didn't last. The on/off switch is situated underneath a flap of the cloth that makes up the exterior of the bird and I think the placement is kind of off because my cats were easily able to, I don't know, make it disappear or just break it off? So yeah, they really loved the toy. It captured their attention whether it was making sounds or not and now they just enjoy it a lot less because it's so quiet. We'll probably try to get another one and see if the same thing happens. Everything else was great, it charges easily and quick and it is a good size for the cats to play with and it's pretty soft except for the core but it doesn't inhibit play any. They were able to easily toss it up in the air. There is a small loop on the top of the toy and I got a piece of elastic type thread to tie it up to their cat tree, that way it would bounce when they played with it. Great concept for a cat toy!

I bought two different brands. She loves this and hates the other🤷‍♂️. The flapping wings are quieter and chirping is more natural sounding with this unit. Highly recommend!
