Gone For a Run | Runner's Race Medal Hanger Extension Bar

The media could not be loaded.  I love how I'm able to add medals but very confused if the new medals should be on top or bottom as they are completely hidden underneath. You can mount this backwards on the bar but it hides the first layer. Then there's the screw issue, it's completely worthless so throw them away and just zip tie the bar closed...or now that I'm thinking about it just zip tie the bar upside down to the other bar at the length you desire! Not sure where to buy spacers but this thing is putting a ton of holes in my wall.Update: folded all my medal ribbons over the bar and clipped them in place so now I don't need to remove the anchor screw or the zip tie when placing new medals. I've submitted a new pic to show how neat they look with 2 layers now.

What I love most is the plaque fits on another gene for a run medal holder which I have hanging on my office door. Gives me inspiration every time I go in my office. Well made and just perfect. Love the extension bars as I can add extra medals which I desperately needed. Well done. Can't wait for my other plaque to come with a different message.

The screws provided are not long enough. I had to search for ones that actually worked.

Extension bar is easy to slide/clip on to the base of the original medal hanger. Made of the same sturdy metal that the base is made from again. I wish the extension was an inch or so longer because the medals hang right behind the other ones. I am also extremely confused as to why there is no spacer to put into the wall like there is on the base. The screws that are given are less than half an inch, and can't reach the wall when attached to the original base. I thought I had just received an extension bar without the spacers, but there are several other reviews with the same issue.If the bar was built to drop 1.5-2 inches below the other bars, and if a wall spacer was included, this would be an absolutely perfect product.EDIT: Ordered a second one. Still no spacers or proper sized hardware.

The hardware provided is not compatible with the main holder this is intended to be an expansion for. Do not order unless you are able to modify it yourself to adapt it.

Easy to connect and doubles the space to hang your race medals. I wish it hung a little lower than the upper bar so you could see the inner layer of medals more clearly, but overall that doesn't bother me enough to make me regret purchasing this one. I'd get another when this fills up.

Very easily installed

This is a great addition to my medal rack it holds a ton of medals depending on how prominent you want each medal displayed anywhere from 10 - 20 will fit.
