Easy install, great product.
I used these on my Sun Tracker Fishin Barge trailer. It's funny, one of the product images is my exact trailer. My trailer is a 2016 and the wood had rotted already. I live in NM and bought it used out of Kansas where it's more humid. I am not a fan of carpet, though I know it has been used for years (my grandfather did upholstery for a living, so I helped him with a lot of boats growing up). I was pointed in the direction of this product and decided to go with it. My only complaint, why didn't I think of this!I was able to change all of my outside bunk boards at home. I just had to change the two long runners at the lake (pictured) with the boat off the trailer. I know most people will have to do this at the lake. In one of the pictures the bunk is dirty. It is not wear and tear on the wrap. It's dry and dusty where I live. This was actually the first time I had the boat off the trailer since I installed the new wood and wrap. For the installation I changed a few things from the OEM setup. The OEM setup came with lag bolts. I kept losing them on the highway due to the deteriorated wood. I decided to use countersunk carriage bolts this time. Hillman makes an anti-turn washer that I used to keep the carriage bolt from turning. I bought these local hardware store. I couldn't find them here. The same with the bolts. I also used treated lumber from a major retailer. I was told that the chemicals used in treated wood today do not etch aluminum anymore. That's a bonus, but even with these wraps drying so fast and not keeping the wood soaked like carpet, I shouldn't have that problem anyways.I used a drill bit to drill the holes for the 3/8 carriage bolts to go through. After that, I used a 1 1/8 spade bit to make the "recessed" hole for my washer and carriage bolt. You do not want the head of the bolt rubbing your boat bottom. I am adding pictures to help. Once the bolts were installed, follow the directions included for attaching the bunk wrap. My only regret is probably using the galvanized bolts/lock washers/nuts. I probably should have used stainless steel. However, that shouldn't be too hard to change out in the future, as the wraps just unscrew. I hope this helps.

Works well but plan ahead for launch/retrieval of boat
I use this on a fiberglass hull, 28 ft and approx. 10,000 lbs. Makes trailering a large boat easy but if you do not put the hull deep enough to float it will rip the material off the bunks!!!! I launch weekly 6 mos out of the year so it gets well used. They only tear easy if you don't plan ahead. No issues or damage by winching wet hull up onto the trailer when taking it out of the water, only about 12.-18 inches.

Appears to be a good product
Fairly easy to install once it gets flattened out. Could have used a few more screws in the package but it’s not a deal breaker. It’s a bit pricey but I hope it makes up for replacing rotten bunks and carpet that leaves the wood wet. Time will tell.

Works well, tough to install but works if you follow directions
I replace the entire 6 rail bunk system on my trailer with new marine treated 2x6's which I covered with this product and installed. It is not an easy product to install, but if you watch the YouTube videos and read the directions, it isn't too difficult for the average person to do. It is critical to understand how to wrap the material around the bunks using the velcro holding straps provided, there is no way to get the stiff material to confirm to the wood otherwise. Once I figured that out, it went on well, tight and solid, and I did it by myself, the velcro strap does a great job of pulling the material tight against the wood so you can screw it down, then you just keep moving along to the end. Note that the cautions about scratching your hull are valid, this is not soft material like carpet. I would NOT use this on a painted hull, but on my 14 year-old gelcoat hull a few scratches don't matter to me. I would buy this again.

Great solution
It was past time to replace our boat trailers bunk carpet, but we wanted to do it ourselves. The thought of spending a couple hundred dollars to have to do it again in a couple years didn't sit well. Finally found this stuff and with the assistance of some saw horses and an electric staple gun, this stuff went on great. We used the hook and loop straps to tighten the material for stapling and varied the staple direction (since we couldn't get the recommended size staples). Looks great, boat loads easier, and it certainly will last longer!

Smooth loading
Replaced carpet on my pontoon bunks. Made it much easier load the boat on trailer and with cranking it up. As mentioned, unroll it and let the sun make it easier to apply. If you're thinking about replacing the carpet, do it!

Good overall design, lacking on materials to install it correctly.
I ordered the 16ft kit to install on two 8ft 2x6 bunks. The material is a bit hard to work with, but a heat gun helps. I installed the material on the first bunk per directions and it went on pretty easily. Upon starting to install on the next bunk board, i was obvious that there isn't quite enough material to install it as I did on the first bunk so I had to fudge it around on the board to ensure full coverage. Halfway through the second bunk, I ran out of screws. For the cost of this kit, you'd expect they would supply enough stainless screws to finish it. I will not also that installing screws every 12" as the directions entail isn't really enough and leaves a somewhat sloppy install. I will finish up with stainless staples. Would love to give this five stars, but they really skimp on hardware and even the material, giving you the absolute bare minimum.
