An Inventive way to teach Reading and Spelling.
I got this learning tool as a way to teach my granddaughter to spell and read. Watching her put the puzzle together is wonderful and she's learning and having fun. I'm so glad I got this because my granddaughter has achieved so much fun in learning to read, spell and put together a puzzle.

Great intro to puzzles, words, and letters!
Bought these for Christmas for my 2.5 year old son. These are great for intro to regular jigsaw puzzles (teaching them various perceptual skills while keeping it simple) as well as learning words and letters. Although he is still a little young to do completely on his own, it is something he can grow with and we usually just do it together for now (I may do 2 pieces and have him figure out the other 2). See the pic for the words that are included

I absolutely love these puzzles! Buy these!!!
As an elementary teacher and mom of a toddler, I absolutely love these puzzles! My little one is only 2 1/2 and she has really enjoyed playing with them. I usually start by putting all of the puzzles together and showing her how they look together and then taking them all apart and giving her only about six puzzles at a time so she doesn't get overwhelmed. Once she's completed those six puzzles then I give her the other stack of puzzles to work with until we've gone through the entire box. Awesome tool to help kids memorize short words...especially sight words!

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.
I wish the company would come out with more 4 letter word puzzles just like this! My 18 yr.-old autistic son loves this set of puzzles. We have played school with this more than any other purchase I have made. We go over the letters and point to them. We put pennies on specific letters, and he is beginning to understand that the letters create words. He has favorite words (baby and king) that he completes first, and he loves when I stack the completed words in a pile. I think 4 letters are just the right number for children who have short attention spans or who need immediate reinforcement. I am always on the lookout for fun but educational aids for my son. This surely fit the bill!

Great for new readers
My daughters class is getting great use out of this! I gave as a teacher gift for the classroom! It has helped the kids learn to stretch and sound out their words for reading!
