Lovely set of flatware. Sent to me as a replacement of broken goblets. Very pretty pattern. I love the weight of them.

Great set, no complaints! I also want to explain the rationale behind buying this set over others to save you the time researching. First, it's real "80/10" stainless. The back says 80/8 but this is normal, silverware industry used 80/8.3 and rounds up. Many "stainless" sets are inferior 80/0 which is less shiny and rust resistant. The knives are less rust resistant, that's also normal. Normal 80/10 doesn't hold an edge so they use a different alloy for those. Don't leave the knives in water and you'll be fine, they are still stainless. Lastly, my favorite thing about this pattern is "fancy" handles. They make the silverware easier to hold, especially for kids and elderly. Smooth handles on most silverware these days make it too easy to drop on the floor, especially the knives.

Exactly what I was looking for. My 30 year old Oneida was missing a few pieces and just lost their luster. These are perfect replacements, heavyweights, not cheap flimsy versions. The 18/10 was worth paying extra for.

Oneida was originally made in USA. I ordered this set replace pieces lost over the years. Disappointed it's not 18/10, it's 18/8. It's not made in Vietnam but it's from Indonesia. The new pieces compared to my original set looks look about the same. Disappointed Oneida is no longer manufactured in the USA. Not sure how to ask for a price adjustment.

Cheap quality low weight

Love this set and it's worth every penny! So happy I got this when on sale , will do so again! Great for gift giving for weddings as well or just for yourself, you're sure to love it!

Edit: looking at the other reviews, this seller has known for more than 2 years that this item isn't 18/18, yet they still advertise it as such!! Don't buy this thinking it's 18/10 Stainless Steel because it's not. Despite the listing saying so, and even the box saying so... This item is stamped 18/8. I honestly don't know how some of these sellers get away with dodgy listings like this!!

I received my order of Oneida “Louisiana” flatware today. In the Amazon description it specifies that the cutlery is 18/10 stainless steel, which is what I wanted. On the fancy Oneida box, it says that the product is 18/10 stainless. However, every piece is stamped with 18/8, which is still pretty good quality, but not what I thought I was paying for. As I already had some of this pattern flatware, received for our wedding 46 years ago, I don’t want to return it. However, I think I deserve a rebate for the difference in quality.

The knives had rust marks when I took them out of the dishwasher.

This Oneida cutlery is 18/8 stainless steel, not 18/10 as advertised. It is still beautiful.
