Slugs Are Dead On With These Sights
Bought this sight set for my Mossberg 930 JM Pro. They were relatively easy to install on the bead. The screws are very small, but with a little patience the front and rear sight can be attached in a few minutes. I was able to get the sights placed/adjusted in a just a few rounds. Now I can shoot slugs dead on, and the bird shot pattern is right where it needs to be.UPDATE: I used my shotgun twice with these sights installed and during the second use the adjustable portion of the rear sight, the part with the fiber optic, fell off. Do yourself a favor and make sure you use some kind of thread locker to keep this piece from falling off. I contacted the manufacturer and was able to purchase a replacement part at a reduced cost.

So Far So Good
These sights are really bright, which is typical for Williams brand fiber optic sights. Have Williams sights factory installed on my TC Impact and they are also great. This model was used to attach to my Remington 1100 shotgun to use this season with rifled slugs for deer. They have held up to several boxes of slugs with no changes in zero. My only complaints are that the rear sight has no marked indexed indicators that let you know how far to move your sight left and right so it is a guessing game as to how far to move your sight to obtain zero, and also that the rear sight is canted just the slightest on one side. Not sure if there is an issue with the rail where I tried to mount it, or if it was simply a mounting error on my part. Either way it does not affect accuracy out to 75 yards which is the farthest I feel comfortable with a non-scope sight.

They DO fit an 870
These absolutely do fit an 870, not sure what everybody else is talking about. They fit the 5/16” vent rib beautifully.Installation was NOT that hard. Take the barrel off the gun and lay it on its side. Sure, took some fiddling, but I had both the front and rear installed within 15 minutes from sitting down with the package in front of me.Pretty cool, easy to add option to get some nice bright sights on a gun with a vent rib.

Save your money and sanity !
This isn't the first sight I've mounted on a shotgun, but it was the most difficult and frustrating. I mounted it on a Rem 870 20ga that I bought for my son around 20yrs ago. The rib is wider than 1/4" but not 5/16", so I bought this sight since it's called universal. Bad idea. Between trying to hold onto the narrow base clamps that go under the rib and having one set of holes a couple thousandths off. I finally got them on an hour later, only to find out that there is no way to keep the rear sight from leaning to the left. Tru-Glo's and Hi-Viz sights always mounted easily and fit perfectly. Over $41.00 once I got them sent to the house. For a few more dollars I could have gotten Tru-Glo's top of the line that I've used in the past and maybe had to tweak them a little, but it would have been well worth it.

Keeps zero, but the rest isn't worth it.
You can't really expect something as intricate as this sight to be easy to install, but this one was extremely time consuming and difficult. Once installed a couple of the screws broke off nearly immediately. Outside of that, once it's installed and kept in place with good screws, it keeps zero, which is really what I'm looking for in the end. Overall, it eventually worked, but next time I will be getting a gunsmith to drill and tap the shotgun instead of using something like this.

Nice fiber-optic sights
These arrived timely. They certainly appear well-made. The fiber-optics are bright. I have not installed them yet, and do not in fact intend to install on a shotgun rail as they are designed to do. I am adapting them to fit a flat metal surface on an after-market rifle stock. We'll see how well that goes!

Top notch sights
If your looking for bolt on sights for a smooth bore shotgun, these are top notch. I boutght them for deer season, they are constructed really well and fit perfectly. The sight alignment is great and the brightness of the fiber optic is just right not to overpowering but enough to pick it up looking through in any light situation. Overall worth every penny!!
