Excellent product and alternative to A4988 driver
Wow - can't praise this driver enough. the TMC2208 is a far more smoother driver chip than the A4988.I had problems with noisy operation using the A4988 in my designs and had to find a solution.i found this to be virtually a pin for pin alternative to the A4988. I think the only difference was with the step resolution selection pins.What a difference this made - plugged it into the existing A4988 socket, powered it up with the same software running and had the satisfaction of seeing the stepper drive perform almost silently.

super quiet operation
using these with arduino cnc shield and it made a massive difference in the stepper noise levels

Massively improved the noise level
Massively improved the noise level of my 3d printer, now the fans are the noisy bit. Just be careful not to touch the wrong pins when adjusting the voltage or you could blow the motherboard fuse like I did

1 von 5 funktioniert nicht und ist geeignet Brandblasen am Finger zu verursachen
Eines der 5 TMC2208 Module hat schon gleich beim ersten Test nicht funktioniert. Trotz minimal eingestelltem Motorstrom wird das Modul innerhalb von Sekunden glühend heiß und zieht soviel Strom dass die Versorgungsspannung zusammenbricht.Eigentlich hätte die Lieferung zurück gehen müssen, ich wollte aber nicht einige Tage auf die Ersatzlieferung warten.

Teilweise Ausschuss
2 von 5 werden nur Heiß und der Motor bewegt sich nicht, eingestellt sind 0,9v.Die anderen 3 funktionieren tadellos.Wenn man neuware kauft aber nur 60% funktionieren ist das nicht ok. Ich brauch zum Glück nur 3, hätte aber gerne Ersatz zuhause gehabt.

Ganz gut für den Preis
Ist schon einiges leiser geworden aber immer noch gut zu hören (stört aber nicht) und die Druckqualität ist auch gut, hab bei meinem i3 an den extruder 1v unf bei den anderen 0,9v und so werden die Motoren nicht zu heiß und es fallen keine schritte aus

Funktionieren einwandfrei, Kühlkörper etwas zu hoch
Eingesteckt, Servospannung eingestellt und Losgedruckt.Die Schrittmotoren sind fast nicht zu hören und die Druckqualität ist auch mehr als Zufriedenstellend.Etwas unnötig aber keinesfalls schlimm finde ich, dass zu jedem Schrittmotor ein eigener mini-Schraubendreher mitgeliefert wird.Einer ist ja ok, aber die anderen 4 kann man sich sparen.Einzig und allein der Kühlkörper könnte etwas flacher sein, ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass es Gehäuse gibt, bei denen der Kühlkörper zu hoch ist.
