Fun + learning rolled into one
My 18 month old adores this book. He is fond of animals, as most kids are, and has learnt the sounds they make by pressing the corresponding buttons as we read the story. Fun + learning rolled into one. The illustrations are very attractive and that adds to the appeal.

Amazing book!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Great book, my baby instantly fell in love with it, she loves listening to the animal sounds and looking at colourful illustrations! Would definitely recommend!

A thoroughly enjoyable book
My 9mo absolutely adores this book. Despite other reviews, she has no trouble pressing the buttons and she recognised the sounds from across the room. The pages are easy for her to turn and I’d give it extra stars purely because the farm animals genuinely look like they’re supposed to, rather than being odd colours, etc. My only grumble is that the donkey and the horse are too similar - personally, I’d get rid of the donkey and replace it with a duck!

Shame about the sheep
I didnt want to buy my grandaughter a noisy book with awful, tinny, annoying recordings like some. I was confident that an Usborne book would have the best animal sounds. Some of them lived up to my expectations - a real cow moo, a real horse neigh, a pretty good cockerel doodle. But oh dear what on earth happened to the sheep? obviously it refused to talk & they gave up & just said BAA into the microphone, not even in a friendly way. Some of the other animals are "human" voices too, pity really as the book is otherwise lovely, colourful & sturdy.

Brilliant book!
My daughter adores this book! It is her favourite. She is 14 months old and it is great to help her learn the animals and animal sounds. She can now point to which animal I ask her to and imitates their noises, so that is fantastic.

Approved by my daughter!
My one year old daughter loves this book. The pages are nice and thick and are easy for her to turn by herself. She can also press the noise buttons herself without issue; however, she actually prefers it when we do it.The story is very short so is much more suited to the younger reader. It has definitely helped my daughter to recognise and match sounds to animals and this is one that she always goes back to.Good price on Amazon.
