Why Vegan?

Peter Singer, a world-renowned philosopher of justice, argues for Veganism as a practice and a movement that challenges injustice at both intra-species and inter-species levels. It can help us in restoring ecological balances that have been destroyed by rampant consumerism both in the food sector and in other material consumption. Veganism has established that we can attain a healthier life and create a healthier ecology if we swear off the consumption of animal products. The resources that are wasted in producing animal-based products can then be used more productively to create a healthier environment where humans can live a healthier existence.
