Works as it should
Taking off the door panel is the hardest part. Installing this piece is a drop-in after you figure it out. There are no instruction in the box or on the Amazon ad. I searched YouTube and found a video. I only gave it 4 stars because 1-there were no instructions, 2-the screws were too small diameter for the larger hole that it creates...I had to find some larger sized screws and cut the length back, 3-the small tube of super glue was insufficient and also leaked all over my fingers. Fortunately I had another bottle. Other than those 3 things, it works as it should.

Product is poor quality. Catch pin does not have proper tolerance to set, lock in. Do not buy.

GMC Sierra Door handle.
I have to admit I had worked on my Sierra inner door handle for about two days before purchasing this unit. This gave me a good working knowledge of how to take the handle off and put it back on, which was a good thing considering the instructions were so general they were useless. The handle is good overall and the extra tools, screws and parts appreciated.

Not good
Not a good product but then again it is inexpensive so what did I expect. The handle itself did not attach to the lever mechanism because the metal pin would not pull out far enough to allow it to slide on. I tried everything including brute force. I ended up having to reuse the OEM handle, which luckily was still usable. Also, it did not have any instructions in the box. Luckily it isn't that complicated but for a less adept DIYer it would have been trouble.
