Excellent item that I'm pleased with.Very well made.Extremley easy to make adjustments to the timer unlike other security lights I've had in the past.Very powerful lamps with many adjustments.

Bright and positionable, sensor works well and nothing really needed adjusting. Good value for money. There is a newer model available now with a remote but I didn’t need to pay more for that. Worth knowing though that it comes with a flex fitted, the unit isn’t opened up to fit a power cable into it.

Fitted to garage. Lights came on pressed for night mode ok. Tried to choose lighting time but could not move away from 10 sec Pressed and pressed but would not change. 10 sec ok but sometimes needs to be on longer.

As described, very easy to install and set up. Wide area coverage, perfect for garden, drive, alleyways.

First, quality is so, so., what you would expect for a reasonably priced Chinese motion detector lamp. And that's it. The instructions are so small you need a magnifying glass to read them and they do not relate exactly to the item. They are probably generic instructions that can be used on numerous products. The wires are long enough to connect but what you get is the most dangerous connectors ever designed....a twist capwire connector. The fact that the wires are soldered would make them impossible to use anyway unless you strip back the wires. These connectors should never be used under any circumstances. The space at the back of the unit is so small that even decently soldered and insulated wires have trouble fitting in it. A very small chocolate strip connector could be used but this is even harder to fit in. I had to modify the lamp base to accept the connections. The switches are hidden under a rubber pull out and again, so small as to be hard to see which switch does what. There is no test setting so it's wait for darkness and then try the switches. Finally, I purchased this item knowing it would not be perfect but expected that whoever designed it would allow for the wires to be enclosed at the back of the unit allowing a flush fitting. As I am only using it for lighting my workshop approach, I was not too concerned about a Rolls Royce style item. but this not only failed to meet up to my expectations but was so bad as to be cringe worthy. Judicious use of external sealant took care of the waterproofing. For the record, I am a qualified electrician and also an electronics engineer with a degree in electrical engineering so it's not that I did not know what I was doing. Provided you do not mind spending 30 minutes modifying the body of the lamp, it's passable as a non security style lamp and fit for back yard usage.

Like this light a lot. It provides the right amount of light for a 6m2 garden. Stays on for the two minutes I set it for and doesn't come on during the day.

From reading the reviews I expected a fantastic product however, whilst I was aware of the specs of this light, I am disappointed nonetheless. The illumination is very clean, crisp white and very bright. The unit appears to be well built and easily adjustable as described. The cable is about 1 metre in length. The three light panels have a positive feel to them when adjusting the angle etc. The disappointments: It only has 2 wires (live & neutral) - this means you can't fit a bypass wall switch which would allow you to have the light on all the time (i.e. for garden party). At the back of the sensor there are two switches with little LEDs; the "night" & "day" LEDs light to show selection however, the light-on timing LEDs did not work at all! It was difficult to tell which duration (10 seconds, 45 seconds etc) had been selected. I will be trying to let the seller know about this. I'm not sure of the IP66 rating as it hasn't yet rained so I can't say either way but I hope water does NOT get in! *** UPDATE *** Regarding the LED indicators for how long the light stays on, I contacted the seller and told them that the function works but the LED indicators do not light up. The seller replied and (understanding the situation) offered to replace the whole unit or offer a partial refund. This was helpful - I accepted the partial refund.
