Ended up buying from a local store because my package wasn’t properly delivered. EDPM is the best substitute for latex brayers to use for gelli printing that I’ve found. I’d recommend matching brayer size to your plate size. Otherwise, it’s great. Easy to clean.

I wondered why it was working so badly so I tried it on a piece of paper and it all became clear. The roller is uneven in the the possible way! It is essentially concave, that is much thicker towards the edges than in the center. This not only means it is very difficult to coat the lino block evenly, especially the edges, but if you roll it over a small carved out section that should stay white, the protruding edges push down into the hollow and deposit ink exactly in the places you don't want it! This is completely unusable and I'll have to throw it away.

These soft rubber rollers are great and give great coverage. Although I initially received one that had a flaw in the rubber roll, the process of returning and having a replacement was a very simple process. The replacement had no flaws and works perfectly, giving me great coverage for lino printing.

Contente d'avoir pu mettre la main dessus ! Cette version "soft" est plus pratique pour une application sur des plaques de linoleum en caoutchou souple, et elle s'applique plus facilement. J'imprime sur du tissus et le coté souple permet de garder plus de matière pour le transfert. Le résultat est parfait !
