They work great!
These coconut openers make life so much easier. Instead of chopping the tops and destroying all my knives I have a simple solution to pop open the coconuts and even straws to use. We drink a lot of coconuts so this tool is used all the time. I love the plunger to pop out the coconut from the opener too. Easy to clean and store, small footprint.

Do not use for lemonade cup hole punch
I know they're not made for lemonade cup hole punch. Someone recommended but they were wrong. Cuts out perfect circle, but pushes plastic circle into cup and you have to dig it out. I'm sure it works great for coconuts because it is very sturdy.

Awesome tool for extracting fresh coconut water easily!
I bought a house in Florida with a lot of coconut trees and for years tried to find a way to open them. This tool is the perfect solution FOR GREEN COCONUTS! Green coconuts have the most water in them, and the shell inside is softer than a brown coconut, so this tool easily drills/pokes right through it. Remember to twist it back and forth as you apply pressure so the serrations can easily cut through the outer husk, and the shell inside. I use it differently than the pictures though. I first sit the coconut on it's most flat side, then drill/poke the first hole just off to the side of the top-center. I remove the tool then use the insert to pop out the core that gets lodged inside the tool. I replace the tool back in the hole, then get the second tool and drill/poke a second hole on the opposite side of the top/center so that there is one hole to drain the coconut and one vent hole for the air to get in. Remove the core from the second tool and replace. At this point, you now have a convenient spout to pour the water from and a vent to help it pour quickly and smoothly. I run it through a strainer or metal coffee filter to remove and fibers or shell that fall into the water, then store it in a mason jar in the fridge. I'm going to buy more since they are so cheap and easy to use, and start giving them away to friends here who don't grow coconuts because they say they're too hard to open. (There's another tool on here for opening brown coconuts - the ones with the meat inside - that is basically two spikes welded to a lever to rip the shells open)

Using the metal straw + thermometer work best.
One of the tips broke. It's hard to find the soft spot on a trimmed coconut, sometimes the soft spot is on the bottom instead of top. I devised a new solution using my food thermometer to poke around the top or the bottom until it goes through the soft spot and then use the included metal straw to poke through the small opening from the thermometer. Doesn't have to use much force at all.

This product is garbage
“This product is unsafe — the plastic pieces keep breaking off, which could seriously harm someone, especially a child. This needs to be addressed immediately.” No respond from the seller refund me my money immediately

Works only on "Green Coconuts"
Everyone in south Florida should own one of these.

Stainless
This is a good one to carry all the time. When you see a coconut tree as long you can climb. Go get fruits and start pooking with this then start drinking coconut juice.

As you can see in the pic, while one opener is sealed the other is lying loose without a safety cap at the bottom, along with it lies a sticker of another customer with her name and address in it, who might have purchased it earlier and returned it.
