In my 78 years (well as an adult anyway), this is the first hat I have received that is too big. My concern is if I order a Large instead of Extra-Large, is it going to be too small? Love the look of the hat, just does not fit. Most of my caps have an adjustable enclosure and I always need to put the straps with 1/2 inch to spare. My Western style hats are all XL and fit perfectly. Very disappointed since I really wanted to have a bold red cadet cap.

Fits a little snug. And I gave a small head! But a really cool hat! Will be ordering more colors!

Good craftsmanship in this cap. Material seems of good quality, unlike many others available. Sturdy construction. A bit larger than a snug fit, although I knew my head circumference to be a little smaller than the actual measurement. This is an advantage, however since I typically wear a bandana over my neck tucked into the cap. The only drawback is the bill is shorter than expected. Otherwise, I am happy with this item.

I can never find a hat big enough, but I did, finally!

I have a large head, most hats I wear an xl or xxl. I ordered an XL in this hat even after reading reviews that it ran a little large. At first I was not happy, but then I read another review that after going into the washer and dryer, it shrank. Had I ordered a size smaller, it would have fit out of the package, but after a wash and dry it would be too small. After washing and drying my XL it now fits perfectly and now I don't have to worry about it getting any smaller!

I purchased the black and green hats as well and the L size fits great. The winter camo is really big for some reason and slides down my head and pushes my ears out. The Black and Green hats fit perfectly though.*06/09/2023 - After I washed and dried the hat on medium heat, the hat fits great.

This is the overall style I like, and the sizing was good. I was hoping for a more canvas-like texture, whereas the feel of this hat is a little lighter than that.

A very nice, well made cotton black cap. No motifs or advertising, comfortable to wear on the beach promenade. Very pleased with the cap and excellent value.
