Amazing cable
The build quality of the cable is excellent, and it is very flexible. Also I was able to achieve the maximum supported resolution on my screen.

Works with USB-C Alt Mode @ 1080p 165hz
Cable works like a charm; I managed to unlock my LG monitor's full refresh rate capability of 1080p 165hz with a stable connection. However, I had to return this cable because I found out my laptop's USB-C DisplayPort alt mode only outputs from the iGPU, not dGPU (my 3050ti laptop unfortunately has no MUX switch to toggle optimus, so I'm forced to bypass it via an HDMI connection). Thankfully, the seller was quick in issuing a refund. So to all my fellow laptop + external monitor gamers out there, make sure your USB-C supports DisplayPort alt mode and outputs from the dGPU (not iGPU!) to bypass optimus (if your laptop has no mux switch like mine) to get the best possible gaming performance. If your laptop ticks all these boxes, then grab this cable and enjoy gaming at your monitor's maximum refresh rate & laptop's maximum graphics power potential!

This unlocks the full potential of my monitor. 144hz
NOTE: I have a 144hz capable monitor [1080p]Previously I was unable to get the full 144fps out of my monitor. Using this cable enables me to do so!The reason for this is that my monitor only supports HDMI 2.0. HDMI 2.0 allows a maximum refresh rate of 120hz. Using the type display port connection I am able to achieve 144hzAdditional points:- Cable feels high quality- Connectors are solid and come with protective caps. This prevents the pins from being bent out of shape.

Bought a second one cause it worked so well`
This is my second CableCreation USB-C to DisplayPort cable and it just works.Used with a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro connected to a Dell S2721DGFA and it runs at 1440p@165Hz with HDR support. Never had any problems with it.My only concern is that the connector on the DisplayPort end of the cable is kind of flimsy and cheap, might be something to consider if you plan on plugging/unplugging the cable frequently.

Braided...?
Misleading by letting u expect it to be braided, which it was supposed to be(?) as it said in the description itself. Other than that it works fine, I guess.

perfect for what it is
I have a monitor that supports 2k and 165hz only on display port. My legion 5 pro does not have display port, only hdmi and usb c. Considering that 90% of cables provide hdmi to display port only one direction and the wrong one in my case (Display port -> hdmi not other way around) I have finally found a way to connect my monitor to laptop with this cable which is amazing, bi-directional and supports very high Hz.
