Perfect in all ways. 👍🏼
Simple. Effective. No frills, no fuss. Seems high quality and it cuts beard and mustache hair easily. Simply an inexpensive product that does what it says.

Very nice trimmer, and it's great that it's non-chargable
Who wants a trimmer that will be unchargable in a few years, because all batteries eventually need replacing. This trimmer works well for eyebrows or that occasional clump of hair that won't lay down.

Grooms well; small and packable, and made in Japan!
Bought this for travel, to replace my 2-AA old (at least 20 yrs old) remington 2-AA trimmer that I dropped and it broke beyond repair. This is just as good, if not better... although we'll see if it survives 20 years. Made in Osaka, Japan which I didn't expect for the ~$20 price point (my old remington was made in china). It is small which is a huge plus for travelling. Length adjustments are done via squeezing tabs on the blade guard which is cost-effective but not super easy -- it's not difficult, but you do have to pay attention you're set where you want to be. Power on/off is slightly difficult to engage which I consider a positive for something that will be bouncing around in a suitcase or backpack. I used this to successfully trim facial hair the way I wanted, it runs on 2 AA batteries, and it was surprisingly inexpensive -- all good!

OK trimmer that is a bit small for beards
This seems like a fairly solid unit. I chose it because it uses replaceable AA batteries. I like this better than the trimmers that have non-replaceable batteries since you have to discard those entire units when the batteries will no longer hold a charge. I use rechargeable Lithium Ion AA batteries (1.5 volts), which work fine in the unit. The packaging describes it as a "Mustache Trimmer", not a beard trimmer. That goes along with its small size. The whole unit is only 6 inches long with the comb at its highest setting. I can use it as a beard trimmer, but it feels a bit small for that. The blades are just 1" (25.4 mm) wide. The comb sets the cutting length a bit higher than my other beard trimmers, which goes along with the function of a mustache trimmer. I measured the depth of the comb at each stop. Here are the approximate lengths of the cut at each setting. 1 - 1/16 in (2 mm) 2 - 3/16 in (5 mm) 3 - 5/16 in (8 mm) 4 - 7/16 in (11 mm) 5 - 9/16 in (14 mm) When I used it without the comb to trim the hairs on my neck, it tended to pull on the hairs unless I moved it slowly. Because of its small size and the fact that is a self contained unit, this would make a good travel trimmer.

SIMPLY THE BEST!
This is one of those things you don't realize how important it is to you until it's gone. My Panasonic trimmer basically died about a week and a half ago because the little, metal contact broke, where it touches battery. How many times have I dropped this sucka over the last 23- 25 years? oh, probably 80 times. How many times has it been submerged in a sink of water? Probably about 15 times. How many times has my son dropped it in the toilet? Probably 5 times, that I know of. (Don't want to even think of the times it was sharing the toilet w a friend. Ewww!) This bad boy has cleaned up my face so many times, I couldn't count that high if you gave me a day. So if you want something that will clean up your ugly mug, fast, without any Cuts, or nips, or pimples, get this bad boy and maybe you, can look as good as me. (Doubt it) I truly love this little bad boy. One of the best small appliances I've ever ever had the pleasure to own. - Robert Velasquez Huntington Beach California

Best Trimmer Ever
I bought my first time in this form factor in 2005. If finally died in 2023 and I bought this one to replace it. Very happy with it.

Mustache trim 🥸
It’s OK for the price. It takes more effort to make a clean cut than need be. Overall performance is OK once you get used to the slanted head.

Simple and Effective But Small
I’ve bought and tossed multiple beard trimmers to replace my old Norelco Maverick T-1000, which lasted over 40 years. Although the Panasonic ER240B is half the size of the Maverick, it’s the closest to it I could find. Most trimmers come with too many confusing attachments and are cheaply made. The Panasonic seems relatively sturdy and does a good job.
