Wrist movement is the key.
It's noisy, has a funny way of working, for MY taste, ugly. Someone else could love it. It is true to the picture. The way it measures movement is what bugs me. It relies on something, (a bead?), moving back around to count your steps. If you're swinging your arms when you walk, you're golden. If you don't happen to do that, no distance is recorded.I mentioned noise. The bead makes clicking sounds as it hits the side of it's space, and a step is recorded. I was standing in one spot sorting laundry and got credited for 200 steps. Then, because I don't move my arms much when I walk, I recorded only 50 steps when I walked a quarter mile! This is not the one for me!It's very big for a woman's wrist. The face of it - the big flat side with the display - is over 2 inches wide and over an inch from top to bottom. 1t's also about 1/2 inch thick. it's not ugly, but it's definitely not pretty or graceful either.

Disappointed
Order 10 of these for Father’s Day. Most of them worked but some of them didn’t. Very disappointed

If you just want to count your steps, its great
Works ok. Very big and clunky. Uncomfortable. You get what you pay for. Doesn't reset automatically.

Bad quality
Nothing but trash... really bad quality, it is not well calibrated and not very accurate with its readings.

Very awkward to set up and there were very poor instructions. Tracking steps was very sporadic and unreliable

Face of the pedometer/watch fell out and was lost within a few days of receiving and wearing it.
