Obviously these are not 'top of the line' commercial grade, but they look like it. I have two that I installed outside (in Minnesota) - they have been through one winter and one summer and so far so good. No complaints. They are plastic though so durability could be an issue in some applications. If they are up high and protected from any 'strong weather' that could cause a direct hit, they will probably hold. If you just want something that makes your indoor Wyze camera set up look like a commercial grade product - these are exactly what you want. EASY to install and you can get about any angle you want with them.

Interesting that they call it weather proof. The camera is enclosed in the mount which shields the camera a bit but it is not weather proof. That said, the mounts work well, are attractive, and easy to install. I drilled a hole through the back of the camera encasement for the camera cord to go through. Other wise, the cord that is attached to the camera would exit the bottom of the casing and would be a little awkward visually and mechanically. The advertisement pictures lead you to believe the cord would come out of the back, It does not. Drilling a hole in the back solves the issue. Still worth the money.

Great upgrade for the Wyze Cam. Have had it installed for a month or so now. Ball mount seems to hold position fine once dialed in. Massive rain storms lately and no problems with the weatherproofing.Two small quibbles:1) The white of the housing doesn't quite match the white of the mount, but that is a small thing. You can see the difference in color on the attached picture. If that really bothers you, just spray paint the whole mount and housing the same color.2) The mount doesn't have a hole to run the camera cord through if you drill it into your wall, so I drilled my own 3/4 inch hole in the bottom of plastic mount ring so the ring wall mount would cover the hole I drilled in the wall and I could run the power cord through it. See the picture. Again, not a huge deal, but it is something the manufacture should consider in future versions of the product.

I have all of my exterior cameras in these mounts now, and they work very well. A few caveats though. Don’t use the mounting screws included with them, as they sheer and break easily or even strip when screwing them in with a driver. Also, there is a small hole on the bottom of the mount, place a decent piece of tape over the hole to keep the bugs and spiders from setting up a home. I have these mounted under the house eaves, as close to the house as possible and haven’t had any problems with the cameras getting wet. I live in Minnesota and they worked well even over the winter.

Very easy to install in minutes with proper tools

These neat little cases provide a little extra protection to the Wyze Indoor/Outdoor cameras, as well as improves the ability to angle them exactly where you need them to be. I purchased them for the cameras I was setting up outside, but because of the ball joint style mount, I could certainly see a benefit to using them indoor as well! While they are entirely made of plastic, they seem pretty sturdy and should hold up for years to come. I like that they add a layer of coverage to the camera and the little "brim" shades it from most of the direct sunlight and inclement weather. They are well worth the price, and I definitely recommend them!

Used these as added protection for my Wyze V3 cams. Wanted some added protection in areas where my cameras are fully out in the open to all sorts of weather. V3 cams fit very nicely inside. Like the fact that you don't need any tools to seal the cameras inside the cases. So much easier compared to the popular style V2 cases that require 4 tiny screws to secure the front and back halves. The only design change I'd like to see would be to have the camera cord routed through the back and not through the bottom. I would definitely purchase these cases again when the time comes to install additional V3 cams.I'd give these cases a 4.5 star rating.

Easy to install

I ordered the PEF mounts/enclosures for my recently purchased Wyze V3 cameras. They were a perfect fit and provide a much more secure mount than what comes with the camera. I was concerned this would be cheap plastic, and while it is largely plastic construction, it is well made and does the job. Would buy again.

I purchased this product to install my Wyze v3 cameras for the outdoors. The quality was excellent, each of the 3 units came individually packaged, and they were so high quality. The installation was so easy as well, and it was so discreet after the installation as well (barely noticeable). I would highly recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a valuable product and not sacrificing quality!

Recently purchased Wyze Cam v3 for outdoor. The product were fitted perfectly and much more secure mount for Wyze Cam v3. It comes with screws and anchors to mount the Wyze V3 on the wall. The viewing angle can be adjusted by the mount arm. Build quailty is good, I installed it outdoor to protect the cameras.
