PediFix Pedi-quick Step-n-smooth Shower Foot File Mat

Very useful item for use in the shower.... I do not like trying to tend to my feet in the shower as it can be slippery and dangerous for someone who gets dizzy when they bend over so using a pumice stone or other handheld file will not work for me. I started using this foot file mat several months ago and find that it works quite well for daily shower use. I have had no problems with it sliding around or falling apart and with daily moderate use find that it has lasted for over 2 months before becoming too worn to be of use. And while not as thorough as a good pumice stone or emery block foot rubdown it is a much safer alternative for me. I am very happy to have purchased another and will continue to do so as needed.

If you are nervous about slipping in the shower or don't have good balance, don't get this! It really needs little suction cups or something to stay in place. You have to step on it with one foot to be able to use it on the other foot and it just left me tipping and almost falling every time. I ended up using in on the carpeted floor, sitting on the couch and even then, it was difficult to file every angle of my heel. Wouldn't recommend if you want a good file on your feet.

I am 66, round, and like my feet to be soft. With difficulty bending to maintenance my feet I was looking for a product just like this. Bought it. Used it. Love it!!!!

Pedi-Quick Step-N-Smooth Shower Foot File is perfect from mobility impaired people or anyone that wants to use it. Due to an accident I am unable to easily care for my feet. I keep this the foot file on the floor of my shower and stand on it. Moving my feet in different directions removes old skin and caluses from the bottom of my feet. I hate those little creatures stuck to the bottom of the shower to prevent skids or falls. When I stand on this, not only am I gooming my feet I am not slipping and falling so not only does it groom it makes it safer for me in the shower. I had had one some time ago but it was damaged in a move. I was so thrilled to find I could purchase this at Amazon.com.

I love this. I laughed at the picture and the instructions but I do think this a great invention, especially for those who have lower back problems. I use it dry before my shower, then rinse it off with hot water. You do have to be careful to not go too far, I was left a little sore the first time.
