Deluxe Gun Safe Lighting Kit w/Motion Switch: Tactical Grade American Lights - 1,350 Total Lumens

I Installed the Deluxe Gun Safe Lighting Kit the other day. This is a versatile, well thoughtout and quality kit. It includes 3 - 20" LED tubes, power supply, motion sensor, 2 wiring extension cables and pre cut rectangular pieces of velcro with adhesive used to attach the LED tubes to the interior of the safe. I especially liked the fully enclosed LED tubes. This alowed me to place a tube at the intersection where front wall meets the top panel inside the safe. I clocked the tube downward at a 45 degree angle. This orientation illuminated the top shelf and the upper part of the safe very well. My safe has half shelves on the right hand side of the door opening. I mounted the second LED tube at an elevation that clearly illuminates the shelves that store two six pistol plastic coated wire racks and the floor of the safe as well. the third LED tube was mounted on the left side of the door opening. This side stores my rifles and shotguns. I was able to mount the enclosed tube to fully illuminate the entire side of safe from the underside of the upper shelf to the floor. I mounted the the motion sensor on the right side of the safe. When I reach inside or wave my hand the LED's Illuminate, I really like this feature. If one uses a bit of forethought a very good result can be realized. I highly recommend this product for safe owners.

Works very well. Couldn't be happier. Comes with every thing you need to mount the lights and sensor. Only thing you need is a way to access an electrical outlet. Turns a dark gun safe into a dazzling show case. I have a medium sized safe and the three light kit is more than enough lighting(can't imagine were I would mount all 5 lights if I had bought the 5 light kit). I mounted one light on the right inside ,one on the top inside and one on the left inside. Not a dark corner anywhere. The only thing you must be careful about is when you are mounting the light on the hinge side of the safe that the hinges clear the light when you close the door. Remember the safe doors are pretty thick. All 3 of my lights are mounted as close to the door as possible so I don't have the light shinning in my face just into the safe. I mounted the sensor on a low shelf facing out and it works great. Lights turn on every time I open the door and they turn off a minute or two after I close the door , no worries works ever time. Just make sure where you mount it that it clears the door when it is closed

These lights were easy to install. I hooked them up to 8 "D" cell batteries as I think that they will last longer. I took a picture of my safe lighted and sent it to my cousin. He also thought it really looked great and could see all of the contents of my safe. I have bought another set for an addition safe.

This is an excellent kit. It is well made and installs easily. The velcro tabs keep the lights and sensor firmly in place. If your safe is already carpeted all the better, just stick the velcro right to the carpet. I placed one bar across the top and 1 on each side about 2/3 of the way down. The Motion sensor is near the bottom on the left wall and lights from just opening the door then goes off after a few minutes of inactivity. The only recommendation I would have is to make available extensions for the AC power cord. The one provided, although it is about 42 inches long, after running it out the back of the safe it was not enough to get to the receptacle . I got one at a local electronics store for $6.50 so problem solved, but it would be nice to just get everything in 1 shot.

Just installed these in my 22 gun safe and they are fantastic!Installation was easy,once I had everything together it took about 30 minutes.I was afraid the self stick velcro that came with the light would be subpar when it came to sticking so I went to Lowes and bought some.Ended up tossing that because the velcro that came with the lights was a beast!These lights are just what you're looking for if your safe is like a dark cave,you'll never regret the purchase!

I just finished installing the light kit. No problems with the installation. The kit came with everything that I needed for the install. Safe is now lit up nicely when the door is opened. This kit is far better than the two battery powered led lights that came with the safe. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone needing to light up a dark safe.

Fantastic light kit! The kit arrived on time and was well packed. I think what I appreciated the most was the inclusion of 2 extensions that made placement of the light bars effortless. They also included extra velcro which came in handy when I had to reposition the motion detector. I've already recommended this kit to my father for his safe. Outstanding purchase!

Easy installation everything you need is in the kit motion sensor is the only issue hard to play so it activates correctly other than that should be less than an hour to install all
