Style Arc Sewing Pattern - Talia Woven Pant (Sizes 18-30)

I'm difficult to fit So I cant tell you this fit out of the envelope. I applied my standard alterations to achieve the fit I like. I also found it necessary to use non- stretch fabrics. Even 10%, usually just enough to give bend-recovery, badly effected the fit I was achieving. Also, I needed to go up 2 sizes - I think that's a combination of my structure and my ease preference. BUT the final pant is spectacular! It's the first pant pattern with a narrow hem circumference (16") that I could alter to fit without adding horrible X wrinkles in back. The Talia is more of a slacks fit. It follows the body contours i.e. no question that you have legs and a seat but it is not so body-conscious that every curve and hair is identifiable. Definitely added this pattern to my TNT's and Favorites lists.

I love the fact that there aren't extra pieces! The paper it is printed on is great-nice and heavy. These are wonderful patterns to use! I love them all!!

I'm a very experienced seamstress. This design of the construction for this pant is terrible, the waistband construction is poorly designed and the instructions are grossly inadequate. I've never left a bad review for a product until this one.
