#8 Spline for 3/16" Groove Chair Caning - 6ft Coil

Apparently all chair caine spline is not equal. I felt the quality was low and had to 'fight' with the splint to stay in the groove. I've been re-caineing my 2 chairs about every 5-7 years. I live in a hot/dry state, the dryness doesn't help natural rattan. I've never had such a problem with spline. Won't buy from this vendor in future.The spline from Peerless Rattan was of a much better quality, sorry I didn't order my spline this time around from Peerless.

Spline looked like pressed fiber. Snapped into 3 jagged pieces when I uncoiled it after soaking. I found another supplier
