This toy has been great for our 4 year old. They are a native speaker of English but we live in a non-english speaking country, so they learn another language and alphabet at school. They have really enjoyed learning letters and typing words, and it has been cool to see them so motivated to learn letters and words in English. They love Paw Patrol, and I think that helps drive the motivation quite a bit! There are a couple of things that we don’t love about it. The automatic volume level is absurdly high, and when you reset the volume to an acceptable level, the device doesn’t always seem to remember that it has been reset to a lower level between sessions. Quite annoying. Also, we the parents do not love the background music. You can turn it off, but the child prefers it on.
