This peeler works great! Best one I have used! I peel a lot of potatoes. This one is very durable. Sharp. Easy to hold.

I purchased this as a gift for my mom, but I already have the same peeler, which is 10 years old and still works perfectly, like new. I can't stop praising this peeler, and I've bought it multiple times for my friends and relatives. I highly recommend this wonderful peeler!

We bought one of these quite by accident at a local store. We use it pretty much every day and wanted another. After searching locally, we started buying all kinds of other brands - probably seven different peelers. It is shocking to confront how bad most of them are. They either bite too much or not enough. It is strange to see that such a simple piece of equipment can be so difficult to design and manufacture. Anyway, we were really happy to finally find "old reliable" on Amazon. Our first one is looking a bit rough, but this new one is exactly the same model and works just as well. We may buy others to stockpile as inevitably in the USA good models/products are discontinued in the search for novelty and the bigger, better thing. This model just works. Buy it. Better yet, buy two!

High quality at a low price, still using this model peeler for potatoes , for three year's peeling 50 lbs potatoes a week, still does a great job

I had a Farberware peeler for years that i was very happy with so when it became unusable i went to buy a replacement. I bought a Farberware peeler at a local big box store and was very disappointed in how dull it was. Then I came to Amazon to buy a Farberware peeler hoping i would have better luck. This one purchased at amazon is just as dull as the one i got at the big box and is going back for a refund. I have noticed that the image posted with the listing for this peeler is not the same as the peeler i received. The Farberware logo on the silver colored plate on the handle is a different shape. The image is the same as my old peeler. The peeler received is different. This peeler is very dull and will not peel a carrot so i sadly have no use for it.
