Selected Letters from a Stoic

Even though this book was damaged due to delay but still it was great purchase for its price and pages were awesome 👍😎

I just started reading this book and I'm currently on page no. 22. As the name suggests, this book contains some letters written by a wise man to his friend. Each letter has great life lessons and no letter exists in this book where you don't find at least one great quote that attracts your highlighter.

The book is obviously a fine work in terms of written material. The cover, print and page quality is not as good as some of the others I've bought from a different publication. The keeping of book before being bought has not been great, can be guessed by some pressed marks on the cover. However, an acceptable condition in the given price which was ₹153 when I bought it.PS: this and other versions of this book have approximately the same number of letters (71 more or less) which is not all the letters (124 total) so if you want to buy the whole version, search for "letters from a stoic all three volumes"

My dear Lucilus,So many quotes from these that just sets you light on life.One of the original stoic warriors.He covers almost all aspects of life qnd troubles a man could face.

A great book for this day and age.Beginners may find the language a bit difficult to follow but overall an excellent take on daily life

Its about understanding self control and discipline.

Yes! Very Happy and Blessed to have read the life changing philosophy of Stoics.....A must read for those who seek to become genuine

There are only 71 letters available in this book. Don't know why they have not added the rest. I'hv also found that these letters are not hand picked instead those are randomly picked. As far as book quality is good no doubt.
