I absolutely love the way this product smells! It's a clean natural smell, no chemical or fake fragrancy smells. The gel is absorbed quickly leaving skin soft and not sticky at all. I've even noticed a more even color in my skin tone! I'm very impressed with its ability to moisturize but leave your skin feeling like you didn't put anything on it, It doesn't leave a film on your skin. Great quality product!

I've been using Eight Saints products for nearly two years now and, at 44 years old, my skin has never looked or felt better. I ordered the Night Shift Hydration Gel because I wanted a non-cream moisturizer for nights, and I wanted something that specifically targets aging skin. I first discovered this product in an Eight Saints discovery kit, but I decided to order the full-size jar after trying it for a few nights. (This has actually been the case with several Eight Saints products, which I now use for most of my skincare routine.) My skin tends to be combination to oily, and this gel is hydrating without being greasy and feels very light on my skin. It has a light scent that's not too overpowering, and the gel absorbs quickly once it's applied, so there's no annoying sticky residue. Sometimes I use a toner and a serum before applying this gel, but sometimes I'm lazy and omit these steps. I've found that neither of these are strictly necessary when using this product, as it works well on its own. It's great for overnight use, but the best thing about this product is the way my skin feels in the morning. After wearing this gel for 8 hours or so overnight, my skin feels so hydrated that I've forgotten to apply my daytime moisturizer on several occasions. It also seems to have a brightening effect, as my skin seems brighter when I wake up the morning after applying this product the night before.

Quick Review:-very lightweight but deeply moisturizes like a heavier cream-creamy, smooth, cooling texture; no stickiness or oily residue-a little goes a long way-very light natural scent, reminds me of bamboo and cucumberI have used other brands of gel moisturizers in the past that felt moisturizing upon application but wouldn’t really sink into my skin. They would almost evaporate and leave my face feeling drier. The Eight Saints Night Shift Hydration Gel has dramatically changed my mind about gel moisturizers! My face looks and feels radiant, fresh and hydrated in the morning after using this gel before bed. I would highly recommend this gel moisturizer all on its own or to use in conjunction with the other products in the Eight Saints Skincare line!

The product glides on very smoothly. I was first a little annoyed at the size of the product. However, a small dab will easily apply all over your face and neck. The product has a very gelatinous texture. It feels water based. I appreciate that it absorbs quickly and there is no pilling with this product. I use it both morning and night. It is well tolerated and caused me no breakouts. This is hydrating, however I do not use it alone. I apply moisturizer on top of the product. It does not leave me feeling moisturized alone. It has a clean, non offending scent. I see a difference in the plumpness of my skin after using it for over a week. I do not see a reduction of fine lines.

I have been a fan of Eight Saints for years now after trying their discovery kit. I love that their products are not full of so many chemicals like other ones.Night Shift hydration gel has a nice fresh scent, almost like cucumber. It goes on nicely and a little bit goes a long way. It absorbs very quickly. My face feels nice in the morning. I have not had as much flakiness on my skin.The only reason I have four stars is that I need to layer another moisturizer on top. It absorbs very quickly and my skin feels almost tight afterwards. If I layer another moisturizer over the top, it works great! My skin is prone to breakouts so anything that doesn’t cause it to break out but helps me avoid the flaky skin that acne products have is a huge benefit.

I find the Eight Saints Night Shift gel to be a great addition to my nightly routine. I have odd combo skin, mainly oily on the nose and dry everywhere else. I started using this in place of a serum at night, layered underneath the eye cream and Up the Anti or Cloud Whip (I rotate based on how my skin feels). In the morning I wake up with soft, hydrated skin that doesn’t feel oily. It really isn’t great to use on its own because it initially makes the skin feel a little tighter and a bit more dry. It has a mild cucumber smell but it’s so insignificant that I don’t notice it. A little goes a long way as well because it spreads easily. Overall, I’ve noticed an improvement in my skin texture and color having added this to my routine.

I am a retired chemistry teacher and I believe in the science of the ingredients. Vitamin C: adds tons of hydration to your skin, a big antioxidant attacking free radicals that damage skin cells and inflammation damage after UV exposure. It even improves collagen production. Hyaluronic acid plumps skin so it looks tighter and smoother. Jojoba oil fights fine lines and wrinkles and is a source of Vitamin C.Cucumber really does a lot besides giving the gel a fresh smell. It tightens pores and especially important to me it helps make dark circles under my eyes and dark spots disappear. Protein Amino Acid blends can help repair damaged skin and promote cell production. That is just a few of the ingredients!So , how does the gel feel? It absorbs readily with no grease at all, and it makes my skin feel refreshed, soft and plumped up. The smell is light, pleasant with a hint of cucumber. I have dry skin which is horrible in winter and as soon as I have applied some gel it feels hydrated and soft. I start with a toner, a serum, a spritz of rose water, the Night Shift gel, and lastly Up the Anti night cream. My skin feels and looks great! It is also a good price when you only need a little to get great results. I am no longer going to buy expensive skin care products with ingredients I’ve never heard of and perfume smells!
