An amazing planner for busy families
I was looking for a decent diary for our expanding family and this seemed to fit the bill. When it arrived I was very impressed - still am to be honest. With week to view and 7 columns for different things this diary offers plenty of room for details of everyone's schedules. As well as this there are sections for shopping lists, month to view, budget planners, christmas and summer holiday planners, a seperate address and contacts book, and stickers! It has kept me busy for ages and I love showing it off to everyone. It is really good quality and easy to use. Of course it is a little bulkier than the average diary but this is definitely not a con when you consider everything that is included.

Great features and excellent quality
Beautiful book! So many different features to it. The pros: I wasn’t expecting some little stickers to be included or a separate book for addresses etc, nice bonus! The perforated shopping lists are great too, you can use them for to do lists as well. Project book style with dividers to separate the different sections are great, make me less reliant on using the ribbon book marks. Although the book says ‘2021’ it actually covers academic year too and starts in August 2020. I couldn’t wait to start using my new planner so it’s nice I don’t have to wait until January! Little pocket at the back for storing things in, I tend to use for storing postage receipts until I know they’ve made their destination. The boxes on the double page to a week are quite small to write in if you’re using it for several individuals. I’m just using it for me however which means instead of having different columns for different people I have them for different aspects of my life, work shifts, gym sessions, academic deadlines, health related appts etc. The cons: The ribbon bookmarks are tied to the top of the spiral binder, which takes up some room when trying to turn pages and lay them flat. Perhaps if they were stitched on they wouldn’t have been so bulky? Can easily remove them however but it’s a minor issue so I haven’t. If you’re looking for a diary to carry around with you then it is quite cumbersome, but that’s the trade off for the fab features and it being for 16 months. Overall I’m thrilled with the book and will definitely be looking to boxclever when I need to replace it.

Wouldn't be without it. Best planner I have owned.
This is the 3rd Life Book I've bought. Have tried other planners but they don't seem to have all the features of this. Features : The main 'week to view' pages - divided into 7 separate columns for each family member plus additional column for meal ideas, to do list & next week plans. Holiday planning pages - both a Christmas planner/list and 6 week holiday planner. Brilliant if you have kids. You can view the full 6 weeks over a double page spread at a glance too. Monthly planning pages - good for planning projects or longer term plans. Also full month to view. Shopping list section - perforated strips that you can take out. Budget pages - use these the least. Would prefer to see more 'free notes' pages rather than these. However this is more of a personal preference. Stickers - quick visual aid for things like doctors appointments, vets, school holidays, birthdays, etc. Static page dividers plus moveable plastic dividers. Also a useful pen loop and pocket in the back for the address book and stickers. All in all a fantastic diary. I also highly recommend the individual Life Book for those without families or those who prefer more week to view space.

Have been buying these diaries for years
I have been buying the Boxclever family diaries for years and I have always loved the colour scheme and the designs that the diaries had. However, this time around with the 2021 diary things are a bit different. The 2021 diary came with all the standard sections that every Boxclever diary has – Personal information (in case you lose it), Useful numbers (Doctor, Dentist, Car insurance number, breakdown etc.), year view for 2020 & 2021, Weekly routines, pages for thoughts & plans for the year, weekly view, monthly view, giving you all the UK and Ireland bank holidays, budgeting and notes pages, Christmas/Holidays pages where you have budget pages and Christmas presents shopping list and last but not least quite a few pages where you can write your groceries shopping list that can be easily ripped off the book binder. As you can see in the pictures for this review I compared the 2020 diary with the 2021. In my opinion the 2021 is very dark in comparison to the 2020 one. I am really not a fan of that dark oil green – dark grey line that is at the end of every page. Similar to the colour scheme of the new 2021 diary I am not a big fan of the stickers that came with the 2021 diary. 26 of the stickers are with a black/dark blue background and in general 68 of the stickers have dark background, having more vibrant colours on the pages and on the stickers can bring a nice vibe to your weekly pages. Furthermore, I believe it is more convenient to have the monthly pages all together rather than having them scattered in-between the weekly pages A few positives that I noticed in the 2021 diary is the fact that there is now a pocket on the inside of both the front and the back cover unlike previous years where there was only one at the back. I also think it is great that Boxclever have replaced the plastic screen that used to come with the old diaries with the 2 bookmarks attached to the binder. PROs: - 2 inside pockets. - The plastic divider is removed and replaced with the 2 strings. - Same great quality as the past diaries. CONs: - Very dark colour scheme throughout. - Dark stickers with poor graphics. - Monthly plan pages are scattered throughout the diary - Budgeting pages a left blank rather than having the pre-populated typical expenses such as rent/mortgage, gas, electric etc. - In my opinion it is a waste of paper having the 16 month diary (August to following Dec), a 12 months one will be just enough.
