Unsinkable: How to Bounce Back Quickly When Life Knocks You Down

Disappointing to say the least
A triumph of marketing over substance is all I can say about this book. Yes there are some reasonable points and it is easy reading, but there is very little substance to it at all. Enormous print and smaller size makes sure it looks like a book, but in fairness this is little more than an in-depth article you would expect to read in a magazine. Not trying to be mean as clearly this book is about bouncing back and some may find it inspirational and encouraging, but I had hoped for rather less fluff and more substance.

lots of valuable information
most of this information I knew already, but would be an excellent book if you have not done work on yourself already. The print in the book in excellent and very easy to read. If you have not done a lot of work connecting to your higher self and not sure about your next step in life this would be a great book for you. You need to be happy, after all this is your life, take responsibility for you and your happiness, don't just think you are not really happy, take action, when you do life can really change for the better.

Unsinkable
For those who have read other American produced 'self help' books, there is not a lot of new material in here, but it is a great book, contains a lot of wisdom and real life stories about people who have bounced back big time from the doldrums. The book states, and I wholeheartedly agree, it is not about what life throws at you, but how you internalise what life throws at you.

There is so much good advice and it is written clearly
This book is invaluable to anyone who is going through a difficult time or having a hard time recovering from a traumatic event. There is so much good advice and it is written clearly, logically and sympathetically. Some times it is hard to see the wood for the trees when you are in the midst of a crisis but this book will help you to sit down, collect your thought, gain perspective and see there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am so glad that I bought it.
