I already have a cast iron casserole pot which is perfect for when I have visitors but it's far too big for just me. When I saw the sale of these smaller 18 cm Le Creuset casseroles, which are large enough for 2 people, I snapped one up. I love the red colour (cerise) and it looks great. I ordered it in the morning and it was with me in the evening. I've got some recipes to try out which I'm looking forward to. Great casserole, great service and great price. 💗💗💗

Don't know if it's too early to review this pot but oh! My!.First time cooking with this pot and my food came out very flavourful and tasty.I love the pot though it's heavy.

I’ve wanted one of these for years and finally gave in and bought one. First used it to cook a joint of beef in the oven, when the beef was finished there were “burnt” splatter marks half way up the dish where the beef had “spitted” and had burnt onto the sides. Once the dish had cooled slightly I put in soapy water and even with a soft cloth it just literally wiped off. Second time I used it to make meatballs in sauce on the hob and again the clean up was a breeze. It is very heavy as you would expect, so you have to use two hands to lift it. You can’t, for example if you used it to cook pasta, hold the dish in one hand, the colander in the other and tip to drain/empty, unless you’re super human it’s not really possible. But there are always ways round things. Absolutely love it and hopefully will have many years use out of it. It is dishwasher safe but it’s so easy to clean I don’t know why you would bother.

So glad I bought in sale. Le creuset is pricey and I wouldn’t have been able to afford it at full price. I have a few of these now in different sizes and I keep coming back because it’s one of the best and a great investment for the kitchen. Easy to clean but a bit heavy as it is cast iron, I don’t mind it as I’ve been slowly replacing all my aluminium pots. I bought one of the cheaper alternatives in the past and as they say buy cheap and buy twice, learned my lesson.

Product is very easy to keep clean. The lifetime guarantee is also a good thing. We have bought Le Creuset before and it is just a very good product. I know it is expensive but it will last a long time.

I have purchased many Le Creuset Dutch ovens as gifts before, and am starting another round. Each Dutch oven has a beautiful, rich color and is so durable that it will, no doubt, be passed from generation to generation. Yes, it is pricey, but it is so worth it.

Love the versatility whether for stews on top of stove, or in oven for baking.
