Good product
Great safe, it’s very durable, but not too heavy. I have no complaints. Would recommend!

Very nice
My fiancé and I really like this. We live in an apartment so we don’t have space for a gun safe like we would want but all of our important documents fit into it, his pistol fits into it perfectly with the mag out if it. Very lightweight and sturdy!

Nice Protection for Compujter Drives!
Good sturdy safe. Only time and misfortune will tell if it does the job meant for--protect items in a fire. I use it to store my ssd and hard drives for recovery, etc. The only issue I found is the rubber gasket will slip off the lid at times.

It opened!
Sure, it's not easy to open, but whoever said it was supposed to be easy? Now it's true, it's probably easier to defeat the wafer lock than it is to defeat the latch, but just because it isn't at all secure doesn't mean that it isn't a good safe!I purchased this for fire and water protection, and from the data I've seen, this is definitely a good product for that purpose. Can't speak from personal experience on that though.Still, I was half expecting the thing to just break as soon as I got it. As it turns out, it is possible to open this thing without breaking it.You just need to sit on it to release the gasket pressure, and then push up the latch retrieval mechanism so that the case can open. What could be easier?Well, a lot of things, but compression is necessary to produce a water-tight seal, so they just had to do their best.Got mine for dirt cheap, so much the better!

Not for large items.
Does the job. Bought this for my son for personal papers and money. Small and won’t fit a lot of 8 1/2 x 11 papers without folding.

Hunk-a-Junk!
This is a truly terrible product. I bought this item this past summer and have had a number of problems with it. First, I should say that I did read the bad reviews before purchasing, but since there were so many positive ones, I thought that the problems that were raised were overstated and/or exaggerated. From the start, I did find that this safe was very hard to open. I am a young(ish) and strong Amazon-woman type and was shocked by how much strength it took me to open this; this item is likely to be completely unusable to the elderly and people with disabilities. I probably should have returned it immediately but, since this wasn't something I was planning to get into on a regular basis, I decided that it would probably work fine. About a month later, while trying to retrieve my passport for a flight that night, I couldn't get into it! I was panicked, and it took three people nearly an hour to get it open!Over the last few months I've basically been unable to get into this box when I've tried. At first I found it amusing because, on a few occasions, I was trying to get access to the small sum of cash I keep on hand for "emergencies" and, on those occasions, I was basically looking to use that cash for something that was not an emergency. This week, however, I needed to get into it again to get some documents and, once again, I could not open it! Again, a few other people tried it, though none of us could not get it to open. Fearing that I'd have to pay a locksmith to open it, I decided to see if I could force it open. The object closest to hand was an upholstery tacking tool. I was able to pry the box open with little to no effort. Happily, this meant that I could get to the items I needed, but it also means that the box is officially damaged and can no longer be used. This item is designed in such a way that there is a second lock engagement, separate to the key mechanism, which seems to get jammed so, once you turn the key, you're supposed to push in this button, which is meant to open the box; the button is the part that seems to be failing.Who knows if this box is actually fire proof, luckily I never had to test that part out, but it is clear that it is not easy to get in and out of, and it is certainly not burglar proof. I would steer clear of this one!
