Excellent Takes time to assemble 3 - 4 hours. Just take your time so you do not damage or make mistakes. Instructions are direct and parts clearly labeled to make it easy to not mix up or lose parts. large surface area is great and plenty of storage area in drawers. Desk is heavy and solid when complete. I put furniture sliders under the corners so you can move around on carpet if you need to. Very happy with purchase.

I absolutely love this desk! It’s the perfect size for my workspace and looks great. What really impressed me was how easy it was to put together – the instructions were clear, and all the parts were labeled perfectly. The quality is great too – sturdy, and the finish looks sleek. I purchased one back in 2018. Until today, I still love it. I just ordered another one for my son. It’s very sturdy and has lots of working space! I assembled the desk by myself with a little lifting help from my 7-year old son. I spent about 4-5 hours putting it together including wiping down all the dust. The instruction is very easy to follow. The company labeled the pieces clearly! For this price, I couldn’t find any better one! I’m very pleased with it!

I was a bit leery after reading reviews however this desk was super simple to put together with the instructions. I’ve never seen anything come with plastic bags labeled by steps. The tops are heavy and require a second person to set but so easy. It feels very sturdy and you can’t beat the price point. Very happy!

You get what you pay for, I always have that in mind when buying furniture from Amazon requiring assembly. Understand before you purchase this from Amazon, you can get the same product from a major office supply chain, and probably have it assembled, but it will cost more. If you did, at least you'd have recourse for any damage due to assembly. For the price, I can't complain TOO much. But I will honestly say, there are maybe a thousand parts and pieces, and it took my husband and I SIX hours to assemble the desk and hutch to completion. And we are both very handy, creative, and skilled at building things! THE GOOD: I really love the furniture, because all-in, it's a step up from what I had. It's is very pretty and much better than the two tables at different heights that I had pushed together as an L-shape before I got this. I love the organization of it. I'm ultimately SATISFIED (not ecstatic, but satisfied) with the product. If you do not need the extra organization and storage space, I would not suggest purchasing the hutch. We had more issues with the hutch than the desk assembly. (see below) THE BAD: 1. As others have said, it is NOT solid wood, it's particle board with laminate, but I EXPECTED that for the price and self-assembly. I've bought enough furniture from Amazon that my expectations match the outcome. Of all the assembly points, we only had one screw that wasn't a tight fit. The particle board hollowed out, and it wasn't tight. That was on a drawer. We used wood glue to make the screw stay in. 2. The two-piece backing on the hutch is VERY THIN and FLIMSY. There are SEVERAL small pilot holes for the VERY TINY nails to be nailed into place, however, even though the backing looks like it aligns well, unfortunately, once we completed installing the backing, from the front, we saw that a few nails almost missed the mark, causing irreversible damage that is visible from the front of the desk. We will need to wood glue and color the damaged parts. 3. HUTCH DOORS DO NOT CLOSE. The pilot points for the hutch doors are NOT correct, nor are the hinge placements. No matter how much my husband adjusted the hinges, one of the doors hangs unevenly, not square. The placement of the pilot holes for the door arms (that allow you to lock open the doors so you can get stuff out without having to hold it up) being too far forward, NEITHER door will close!!! It is very aggravating. I'M LEAST SATISFIED with this product because of that! We will have to rehang the arms, placing them further back in the cabinet so that the doors will close completely, and even then, one will still not be square unless we figure out how to fix that. This means there will be more holes inside the cabinet that really should not be there. 4. It's a pretty desk. However, the surface and color make hand prints and EVERYTHING show up very visibly, and it will scratch very easily as well. I AM ORDERING a vinyl desk mat to cut to size to cover the enitre surface so that it's protected. You can even see this on the attached video. 5. In my room, the hutch corner is very dark. This may not be the case for everyone, but I have ordered a small corner lamp to alleviate this problem. Video and pics attached.

Man for the money it’s amazing, looks great and the instructions weren’t to bad to put together. It doesn’t come with the tools to put together as advertised but it still wasn’t bad. All you need is a screw driver. I feel like it’s on par with say a 1000 dollar desk, even the nice ones now aren’t made with real wood anymore. So unless your willing to pay 3k or more I would say save your money and get this desk instead
