Really useful tools for planting seeds or small pots. I love the little storage bag that comes with the tools, to keep everything together nicely.

This little set of indoor gardening tools are just right to deal with plants in your house.I bought this set as a gift for my daughter who is really getting into her house plants.They are small but functional and all fit into the “sack” to keep them all together.Reasonably priced, look sturdy and cute to boot !

Better than expected and all the tools needed to replant succulents

Disappointingly, one of the tools is rusty. This was purchased as a Christmas present so is a real shame. The overall quality seems fine apart from this particular issue.

This set of miniature tools well suited for sowing seeds and managing seedlings, I don't think it is designed for heavy work, if you take out the scissors, snips and tweezers it might also make a lovely set for a child's supervised play in childsafe sand as it comes in its own Hessian bag.some of the items come with individual plastic wrap which is I feel is wholly unnecessary, it could easily do without the plastic.I have listed below what is included and what I think they can be used for.I bought these whilst looking for a small trowel.For the price of one small trowel from the garden centre I got in this set:*2 small trowels*1 small rake* 1 double sided dibber ( the forked tongue looking thing, for making equidistant holes for seeds or seedlings)*1 cone shaped dibber ( as above but makes holes of different depths and width depending on how far you put it into the soil)*1 scoop ( can be used for sowing seeds or gently lifting out seedlings)*1 mini paint brush, ( I think this is more suitable for indoor planting, I can't think of a use outdoors, maybe to apply natural pesticides like garlic oil ?)*1 set of curved long nosed tweezers for lifting delicate seedlings* 1 pair of scissors, not very sharp or robust, I wouldn't touch my bonsai with them but perhaps good for gathering in soft herbs like basil, I don't think they would last long if used to regularly cut normal garden twine.*1 set of thread snips, the cheap kind that break easily, but good enough to cut thin twine for a while .So, apart from the scissors and snips, a good little set for anyone sowing seeds or looking after & potting on seedlings.Note:the two little trowels and rake are a metal head on a small wooden shaft, they are not designed for digging up your garden, but I think will last if used for seedlings in freshly turned soil or compost ( like the big bags you get from the garden store), wipe off soil, dry, add a little bit of oil with a paper towel and they should last I think.The dibbers and mini scoop are plastic.The scissors have plastic handles.The snips are that alloy metal and bend easily ( I used to use exactly this sort of snips for knitting, I have gone though more than 10 before I gave up and bought proper stainless steel thread snips, so know them well, know how they easily deform, and that they only stay sharp for a few uses before becoming totally useless, I have been told it is due to what they are made of and how they are made that they cannot hold an edge)Hope this is useful.Overall I am pleased with this set.
