Beyond Good and Evil: The Philosophy Classic

This review is focused more on the book quality & less on the content. Keeping in mind that the hardcover edition costs around ₹800 per copy, this book published by Capstone is honestly extremely disappointing. When purchasing a hardcover edition, one expects the pages to be of good quality on which he can make notes as well (expecially for a title like "Beyond Good & Evil). That being, the pages of this edition are so rough that it is almost impossible to make notes neatly. I almost feel cheated for the price I paid for it. Having an idea of the status held of Capstone, I was utterly disappointed with them & can say with utmost confidence that this was the first and last time I bought a book published by them. I recommend you buy a different edition by different publisher. When it comes to the content - If you find philosophy intriguing or wish to learn more about it or if you are a follower of Friedrich Nietzsche or Existentialism, then this should be your go to title. However, I should point out that "Beyond Good & Evil" (and most of Nietzsche's works) are quite difficult to interpret & understand. Nevertheless, it's undoubtedly worth the effort. It's a must read for those who wish to learn more about themselves & the world.

A great philosophical classic. The book itself is made from sturdy, high quality materials and feels nice to hold (and looks great on a bookshelf!).
